Both the staff and residents are super friendly. They have a lot of activities for the folks to do. They treated my grandpa very well :)

Being a PSW working there I can say that they do take good care of the residents and help to promote their independence

I want to say a big THANK YOU to all the staff at the Hellenic Home In Scarborough. Our mother Catherine last year started to deteriorate physically (walker/wheelchair) and mentally (dementia). We took her out of her home and tried two different Nursing Homes. We were worried because she was not happy, we felt the staff was overworked and neglected the patients, she lost some jewellery etc...we were very happy when Hellenic accepted her. She is a completely different person. She is more talkative, she seems healthier, she is exposed to Greek cultural programs, she interacts with staff and other members who speak Greek, she attends the Church on the property, she eats Greek type food, she watches Greek cultural programs from Greek TV,,,....what can I tell you, Hellenic has saved our mother from shriveling up...we are so happy, one less stress in our lives and to know our mother is well taken care of. She worked hard all her life and took care of us and others and now deserves to be taken care of herself...Efharistoume...

Great and staff... especially the lady at the front (Anthoula?), a head nurse (Joy) and a PSW (Mila). Always cracking a joke with the residents and having a fun time at work. Fun activities for the residents. Menu is often better than anything I cook. Residents are well taken care of and accomodated for each of their needs. Couldn't have asked for a better place for my Yiayia!

Great staff, however management is terrible. They are rude and demeaning to their staff. They should be ashamed of themselves.
