Translucid Adventures

We had an amazing time paddling on the lake - the water was serene and the views just breathtaking. We went for an hour and the price was very reasonable.However, the best part of our experience was meeting Liz who showed us the ropes and was lovely to talk to. This company is very lucky to have Liz working for them - she is awesome!

I happened upon Edith Lake on a hike. I saw the Translucid outfit and was curious since I’ve never tried SUP before.So a couple of days later, I thought I would give it a try. Lake Edith is a wonderful clean, warm lake to explore and try SUP. Much of the lake is quite shallow.Alisen and the rest of her crew were top notch. They were friendly and welcoming. Alisen provided a great 10 min orientation to help give me some tips and orientation. I was comfortable paddling in the water in no time. I rented a board for an hour and was able to go to the far north end of the lake and back. Had tons of fun. Prices are more than reasonable as well. I’ll definitely come back next time to do this again! (I also had a great swim afterwards. The lake is superb.)

Beautiful little beach out of the way of the mayhem of the main strip of Jasper. Sand is nice and water is mild for a mountain lake. You'll always see someone on a SUP. There is decent parking and access to the beach is s ho ort from the parking lot. If Edith Beach is busy, walk across the way and check out Annette whose waters and beach are every bit as good and perhaps even a little more kid friendly due to the shallow waters.

We rented paddleboards by the hour and it was one of the most memorable experiences of the trip/our lives. We saw giant fish and an elk that weren't visible from the shore. Alison and her team were great in giving us the demo and making us feel comfortable on the board. Highly recommend to anyone, even folks who are new to paddleboarding.

I was nervous since this was only my 2nd time. Liz put me right at ease and made me comfortable with doing it. It was a great experience and I had a blast.

Beautiful small lake near Jasper with sandy beaches, picnic tables, and parking. Lots of shallow water with incredible aqua, blue, teal colors. Good place to kayak and paddle board. Good hammock trees too!

Very beautiful views of Lake Edith and the mountains. Great spots for photography, walking or picnics. Make time to relax here.

Alison and other instructors are really nice. They taught us with patients and take care of us all the time. Edith lake is very peaceful and suitable for experience sup. We had a great time here.

Amazing place and people! 100% recommended for anyone, not experience needed. we had the lucky to see a bear taking a bath in the lake, I felt super secure even with the bear there! :) thanks Alisen!!
