The staff are super friendly and very helpful!!! The park is very clean and has lots of fun activities for kids and adults. It is a very quiet, friendly and safe park. It is very family orientated and we have felt welcomed from the minute we arrived. Our granddaughters love it here and so do we. We would highly recommend to others.

The dust, oh the dust! Treating the gravel roads for dust is not a priority which then causes a constant foggy haze over the campground. It covers EVERYTHING! Your vehicle, your trailer, inside your trailer, on your skin, your food and the constant taste of it in your mouth. Sitting outside is difficult due to the dust, if you don’t breath or open your mouth or eyes no worries.

Park with a great future, two trailer parks that originally opened in the 1960's were combined to form the current park, major park facility upgrades started when Sun Comunities purchesed the park and continue, full dock refurbishment and pool upgrades completed this year! ( so far)

We have been very happy to stay in this campground for going on 2 years now, the sun retreats team does an excellent job on making sure campers needs are met and make sure residents have a great experience.Great fishing, nice people and great staff, I highly recommend this campground

Sun Retreats Hay Bay
This will be our 3rd season at Sun Retreats Hay Bay, and we’ve loved our time here! Super friendly staff, and a well maintained park. There’s always something to do, from bands to bingo nights and euchre, as well as kids crafts and movie nights! Cassandra and her staff are all amazing and a pleasure to camp with! :)

My belief is since Sun Retreats took over this campground it has gone totally downhill.Very poor management, communication and responsiveness to voiced issues.Unfortunately they do not seem to have any desire to retain their current campers.There will be many camp sites available for the 2023 season as many long term campers are moving - leaving many vacancies. If this campground were a desirable place to camp, there would be an extensive waiting list- much like most reputable campgrounds.If your desire is to walk out of your trailer and sit beside a septic holding tank in their “supreme” camping site- this is the place for you !

The park is improving. Sun is working to improve the park and it’s amenities. I look forward to all of the on going projects being completed and the new pavilion and other improvements in the planning stage. The new fishing docks and swimming pool updating is already making the park a better place to be

Great little park, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a bit of a view of the lake, from the site, pool was very clean and refreshing, and a nice size playground , washrooms could use an exhaust fan to cool them down a bit and circulate some air but were kept clean and taken care of. I enjoyed my stay but I wouldn't recommend site 126 as its directly in front of the dump station but other than the smell at times, it was a really great stay.
