Dr Tranter has been my dentist for 25years + him his team are very professional. Always a pain free visit. He takes his time to explain things thoroughly about what i need to have done and why .

Five star plus. Dr.Tranter and Staff I came to Vic West Dentistry after horrible treatment at Anchor Dental in Esquimalt plaza. What a difference!!I should have left years ago. I didn’t bother writing a poor review for Anchor dental, they have plenty. Obviously, they don’t care.

This is my regular dentist, took my 20month old in for his first appointment. They were playful and gave time to make him comfortable. The exam it was short, and the technician gave Lots of time prior to the exam to let my little guy see the tools play with their tools etc.

Quality care. The staff are friendly, helpful and forgiving - they allow you the time and space to make decisions and try to help you to work out financing the work they do on your teeth. I have been a patient of Dr. Bruce Tranter and the dental hygienists for just over a year. I have found them to be good listeners and to provide good advice and to do good work on my teeth.The only reason I am giving 4 stars and not 5 is because the Clinic tacks on amounts over and above what my insurance is willing to cover - every visit. Having said this, I don't know how common this practice is in Victoria. Perhaps it is because of the higher cost of living here? Maybe dentists in Victoria need to charge more in order to have the same standard of living as other dentists across the province..?

I have a large of fear getting needles but every step of the way the team made me feel safe and calm. The procedure was efficient and they all worked together so beautifully. Amazing work, thanks team Vic west.

I was able to get an appointment quickly, the hygienist and dentist were both very friendly! Also nice view of the water from the chair :) they do tend to start your appointment around 5-10 minutes after it's scheduled. They ask for consent before using products in your mouth which was very appreciated!The text reminders before your appointment are helpful too!
