Bloor Coin Laundry

Showed up early and this place was utterly filthy, smelled like human waste and nearly every open machine had material and dirt inside the tubs. The outsides were equally unclean and damaged. The final straw was that people had written messages on paper signs on the walls saying they need to fix their machines and that they're ripping people off. The fact that the owners would leave graffiti like that up on the wall means literally nobody is cleaning or fixing anything at the start or end of the day.

Place is dirty and smells. People sleeping in the place and in front of the building. I don't feel safe coming here anymore.

Worst laundry mat I’ve been to gotta bang the machine to get the quarters to drop in right otherwise you gotta drop each one in about 10 times before it accepts it but they get mad at you for banging on the machines to get them to accept the quarters right away. Also half the machines have some kind of issue either not starting at all, leak, don’t dry just go anywhere else

Only one of the triple loaders works. The rest are out of order. Only a handful of the double loaders are working and even some of them should be out of service because they're not draining. 5 of the 14 dryers are out of service. The mat is also filthy. The machines are gross. I'm not coming back!

Worst laundromat ever. I left my clothes in the dryer for about one hour and came back around 9.10pm and realized they were closed. I came back in the morning and half of my clothes were gone. I had a few very expensive pants in there and they were stolen. I called the laundromat and they told me I shouldn't leave the laundry, instead should wait there until it was done. And that they dont take responsibility for stolen goods. That's understandable but who in their right mind sits there for two or three hours to do laundry when there is so much more they could do during that time. Also when I called and asked the laundromat to check the cameras, they said there wasn't a clear shot of the machine I was using, so why on earth do you have so many cameras there if you cant check them when there is an issue. That's just too suspicious. Also the place is not clean at all and there is dog fur everywhere. Anyways I dont recommend this place to anyone.

Machines are disgusting with a section of broken ones, one or more dryers don't work (I know one as I used it) and there is no bathroom that is usable, and I don't care about excuses like homeless using it to shoot up, the cost is the only thing I went for and even that isn't a draw anymore

So I decided to try a different laundry mat today Oct,7,2017. Was a little hesitant on going to Bloor Coin Laundry, my initial impression was ok. Till after I got my laundry started and thought what am I doing here. For starters one of the front loaders that they charge $3.25 for had some water still in the bottom of it. Both of the washrooms I am assuming there washrooms had out of order signs on the doors. The back part where there is 3 larger size from loaders that they charge $5.00 to use had no lighting in that area which made me feel unsafe as a patron (considering it's oshawa). So I decided to use the even larger size front loader that was right inside the front door. Good thing I was the only one there. Upon further watching my clothes being washed I noticed that there was a trickle of water from the door. (POOR UPKEEP) The chairs they have there for you to sit on look very disgusting so I stood the whole time. Good thing I had my Tim Hortons to keep me awake as there is no T.V to keep you occupied. Surprising the floors were in semi clean condition and hey do have a pop machine there if you get thirsty. I assume it was the owner who showed up when I was there. On a closing note i did feel safer knowing that there were security cameras watching the place and I'm wondering if the owner can see wats going on in real-time while he is at home. I was walking around the place quite a but so who knows maybe he got worried.

I hadn't used this place since last summer I was shocked at how much of a dump it has become.Machines take your money then wont start and will not return your money, several dryer have no heat, one of the dryers melted my bounce sheets on med heat, there is mold where you put you detergent ...NOT RECOMMENDED
