We highly recommend using Viamar to transport your belongings overseas or whatever you have to ship. They’ve made the whole process going so smooth even though I flooded them with so many questions ( this was our first shipment overseas) they’ve handled it like pros’. I’ve got the cars with no scratch nor any damage, as well as all the other goods we’ve included in the container. The whole process took about less than 2 month. Their agent in Romania was very responsive, professional and helpful to clear my container easily and with no hassles.So THANK YOU to John, Bruno, Christina, Sara and all the crew at Viamar!Thank you all!

never contact this company !!! the whole car is damaged: the roof, the trunk lid, the rear bumper, the front fender, the mirror. not only was it delivered from Canada to Ukraine from February to August, but they also refuse to compensate for the damage. !!! do not recommend

I bought a car in Canada to be shipped to Italy and Viamar prices and services were fantastic. They provided me with a customs broker in Italy who assisted me with the whole customs process in Italy and they also recommend a company who helped me get the car registered. Most impressive was the way they keep me up to date with all situations, they even send to me loading photos of the car in container. Good company and professional company.

I’ve been dealing with Bruno at Viamar for 5 years now, they are the best transport inc I’ve ever dealt with in terms of price and quality of work!Highly organised, very punctual, fast service. Friendly, flexible and helpful staff. Very professional, unlike other companies that I have tried, Bruno and his team know what they Do!My cars always arrive within the agreed time frame, I never had issues with my shipped cars like damage or scratches.I highly recommend it, it’s my first and best choice.They deserve more than 5 stars!

We just received our Goods in Austria today, and it was in the same shape as it has left my House in Canada, we would like to thank John Fortugno and his team for there great and quick service. I shipped half a container of personal items mostly vintage items, including precious art work and more, including personal documents and more that did not arrive, 3 /4 of my stuff arrived and a bunch of things did not, viamar offered me 100 dollars for the lot , and my 300 dollar insurance apt only covered if i lost all of my stuff, not part, no apologies or nothing , I asked them if I should put labels on my stuff they said I did not need too, I also paid for my stuff to go straight to perth and ended up in queensland with a company that charged me a ton of extra fees, feel so betrayed , took me a long time to choose what I thought was the right company ( what a lie below, honestly people need to avoid this company . I clearly told you what was missing and you have refused to acknowledge what was missing . And the . Value of my mid century art. Lamps dinner ware . Clothes, books , are clearly stated the approx value and it is in the hundreds not 100 . That was one item . ) your team also repacked my art and atomic lamp into another box , not a mention about this . Totally not acceptable to rip me off and also offer me insurance that does. Not cover loosing stuff . My advice to anyone is find a company that labels and packs - I will be getting legal advice ( also you sent me an email saying you won’t reply to my emails anymore - what a scam )

I used ViaMar when I moved from Canada to the UK. It is very reasonably priced and has excellent customer service! Shipping time was longer than expected because of logistical delays in Montreal (this was outside of ViaMar’s control). ViaMar was great with communication and let me know the status of my shipment at every stage. They guided me through all the paperwork for customs and explained clearly what I needed to do. In the UK, they parked the truck right outside the house and unloaded everything quickly and carefully. Excellent door-to-door service! I would recommend ViaMar to others and would use it again in the future!

They are scammers! I'm currently trying to transport my furniture from Ontario to Switzerland. The original estimated volume was 5.5 cubic meters, and that was the volume confirmed by people who picked up the furniture from Ontario and also by John from Viamar. Nevertheless I got an invoice for 8.8 cubic meters, which >50% than expected. Since it is the same household I transported some years ago from Switzerland to Canada, and that time the final volume was 5.5 cubic meters, definitely it cannot be that there's an increase by 3.3 cubic meters.John doesn't reply my emails and calls and I started to receive emails from their accounting threatening me with additional fees if I don't pay. Viamar also threatened me by not providing contacts of their agent who is supposedly responsible for the customs clearance in Rotterdam. This company are scammers. They provide you a nice offer, but you should be prepared to pay much more once they are in possession of your items.Update: After many requests John provided me pictures of my items which were packed on 2 pallets. I found out that one pallet had a shape of trapezia with a large base and narrow top! he calculated the total volume using measurements of the bottom! this is where 3.3 cubic meters were hidden, in the air! which I still need to pay, viamar couldn't pack things properly, so unprodessional! They won't optimize volume of your items so be prepared for much higher expences than in their original offer, or better use other more reliable services. I'll provide further updates once I have to deal with their agent in Rotterdam.

I want to thank Bruno, Dominic, John and Christina, for all their help with shipping from Toronto to Romania. I had an excellent experience, and I felt as though the whole company really cared about me and treated all my cargo with great respect.I would especially like to thank Christina for everything she did for me. I had so many questions, and she was always very patient and helpful. It is clear that she is incredibly knowledgeable about the whole shipping process and she was happy to explain it to me whenever I needed clarification. Bruno should feel proud and lucky to have Christina at their company.I am very happy with the service provided by Viamar Scilla shipping and will definitely recommend them to all my friends and family.

i contacted joe fortugno from sicily last year about bring over 160 lt. of olive oil. he quoted me a figure and told me over the phone that the service was door to door, he even asked me where i lived in canada. i want to note that i had tried to make contact via email before that never got a response, i also sent him several email when i finally reached canada and he neve responded to those either. its funny because one of the emails i was asking if he is interested to import oranged from sicily. i would expected an answer to that. anyway, not important now.when i reached canada i went to the office and arranged for the pick up from sicily, when i told about door to door he said that was not the case, he went back on his work, and i had no proof, thats why i think he doesnt answer emails.he gave me a very sloppy hand written contract with the figure that he had quoted me in sicily, but not door to door, so i had to pick up my oil when it reached canada.he told me it would be shipped in november, i emailed him several times in december and finally a woman from his office emailed me saying it would be arriving at a certain date in december and she attached a formal invoice, way more than the quoted price, adding such things like price increase for december sailing, whey is it my fault it sailed in december, also such costs like canada customs manifest, security and handling, whcih he never mentioned at our sit down meeting.very disappointed at the unprofessionalism of this company.
