Great store for phone needs or apple products.

Just had one of the worst customer service experiences ever at the Pembroke Bell store. $100 just to activate an old flip phone that we'll only use in an emergency. I said that's too much and they tried to charge me $15 for a SIM card even though they wouldn't even be able to give it to me. I explained that I would rather pay to cancel my service then be forced to buy a little piece of plastic I don't want.I didn't feel good about the interaction and I try to be kind to retail sales people so later on when I saw the sales person go out for a smoke I apologized for not being clear enough about how much I was willing to pay and clarified that I know he doesn't set the prices so I wasn't angry at him. He was very rude in his response.It didn't help that my kids were being difficult throughout this whole process. I wonder how many other people have had similarly negative experiences here.

Maybe a COVID-19 thing, however, I arrived on Saturday afternoon and there was only one staff member working. It took a while, however, the quality of service was good.

My phone hasn't worked for over a week, call three times from my neighbors house. You guys never showed up then hung up on me after an hour on hold. Third representative I talked to couldn't give me a date of repair. I want my landline fixed, I can't call 911 if there's an emergency. Fix my phone.

Called asking if they carry a certain physical product. Staffer was helpful, willing to put me on hold to check stock and prices for me and describe the differences of the items. Good experience, I was happy I didnt have to drive over for this.

I was thoroughly impressed. Alyssa was my representative. She was professional and incredibly knowledgeable. Not only did she find a new cellular plan for me to meet my needs and my budget, she also found items within my current cellular plan that were unnecessary and removed them from my bill. All in all, my visit exceeded my expectations and I was very grateful for her honesty and guidance. Thank you!!

Every time I upgrade my phone online Bell screws up the shipping. The customer service is a 1/10 as they wouldn’t help me at all

Great experience so far but they do not explane a lot of things, I have to get some explanations on some things.

Terrible service here. I now drive the extra km's just to go to the one in Petawawa. The manager/owner is extremely rude. The employees are ridiculously rude and in love with themselves. If you have a question, don't bother asking them - they are just going to tell you to call Bell. Lots of bait and switch techniques. Bell isn't the greatest phone company but this store certainly makes them look truely awful. Won't be back to the Pembroke location, but will still remain a loyal Bell customer.
