Amazing dental clinic that I would highly recommend to anyone that looks for a gentle dentist and a pain free appointment. I have always been afraid of dentists my whole life. I went in for an emergency session and Dr. Benjamin Chiu did a root canal and fixed my tooth with zero pain. He took his time to talk about the steps involved and why the procedure was necessary. Throughout the procedure I felt very comfortable. All staff were amazing, very organized and accommodating. Since then I went back for cleaning, fillings, crown and wisdom extraction. The hygienist and Dr. Jennifer and Dr. Abbasali were all amazing too. Highly recommended!! Good job Cayuga dental team!!

We love Family Dental Care! Dr. Chiu and his staff are very kind and accommodating. They take time to explain care and actually listen to your concerns. The staff, and especially Dr. Chiu are extremely patient and helpful with nervous kids who don’t love going to the dentist. We won’t go anywhere else.

As a previous Dental Assistant for Dr. Chiu, I can’t say enough good things about him and the care he gives to his patients. I have referred many people to Dr. Ben as I have the upmost faith in his abilities as a dentist. My family members are also patients of Family Dental Care. I really enjoyed working with Dr. Ben before my retirement from dentistry. It is nice to know we have great care in our small little community of Cayuga ON.

Professional and very friendly staff. The dental hygienists are so gentle yet so thorough. I felt very well taken care of. I always had a great experience when I come here. Dr. Jennifer was so wonderful. My son was so nervous and she walked him through the whole process. It made him so comfortable and at ease. Everyone here is very helpful and friendly.

We've gone here for a while and we're not happy with the care provided. It seems this practice is more about making a profit than anything else. Dentists are cold and abrupt, dental hygienists concentrate more on rambling on about their lives than focusing on their tasks. Receptionists can be rude at times. I find it odd that after being at that location for 15-20 years they only have about 50 reviews and all are 5 star" reviews. Makes no sense that in all that time they've never had a poor review. Clearly the reviews they receive that are less than stellar are removed to keep their 5 star rating :( Terrible. We're never going back"

We have trusted Dr.Chiu as our dentist for several years now and highly recommend him. Everyone in the office is friendly, and professional. Dr.Chiu has gone above and beyond to ensure we feel comfortable and taken care of after every appointment. We are so thankful he came to practice in Cayuga!

My previous dentist retired so I thought I'd try one close to home. I went here once for x-rays etc and that was fine. But arranging appointments was terrible. This office has no voicemail system whatsoever. I had an appt.for 10am on a Monday morning to have cavities filled. But I was on call at work and needed to reschedule because it was an overnight awake shift. I tried calling and emailing all weekend but to no avail.When I was able to retrieve my messages Monday @ 12 noon this office basically blew up my phone with messages and emails because I was a no show" Ok....so 1st get an answering machine so you'll know as soon as you arrive @ 7am that you have a cancellation and aren't in that predicament ( not everyone can phone @ 7am! When I was done my awake shift @ 5am I had to sleep!) 2nd check your emails!! Clearly they did not as they were emailing me after I already let them know via email as well.I called to discuss this and rebook. I had 8 cavities to fill. Sone really large. Yet she said the earliest she would book me in was 2.5 weeks away. Even though they have THREE dentists and I was willing to see any of them. The receptionist Sharon was unprofessional about the whole situation. Don't get me wrong. I was upset and frustrated on the phone for the reasons mentioned. But for a receptionist I was really suprised by how sarcastic and rude she was. So I decided I was going elsewhere to have dental work done and needed the paperwork and x-rays they did sent to my new dentist. She said she would send that afternoon. But she never did. When I called the next day she was curt with me in that she had been "busy" even though she agreed to resend them because I needed them that day for my appt. When I saw my new dentist I was shocked at the cost difference! Family Dental Care in Cayuga quoted me almost $1900 for the work I needed done. The new dental office I just went to quoted me $1100! Almost a $800 difference! So glad I went elsewhere!"

The FDC team listen to my concerns and address them with a wealth of knowledge. Staff are courteous, accommodating and always pleasant to deal with. Thanks for everything!
