Waterfront Boardwalk Trail

Great walking path , always clean , furkids have a blast and lots to enjoy from walking , running , biking , swimming or in my case Harvey trying to get a duck or 2

If you need a stop on a long drive with your kids, this is the place. Beautiful waterfront and boardwalk, big, clean playground, snack bar with lots of food options, lots of benches and picnic tables. Looks like there's normally a big splash pad, but they're currently doing construction on it. 10/10, will definitely stop here again when we're passing through.

Beautiful but nowhere to fill a water bottle. Not ideal with 30 degree temperatures. Of course you can just consume more single use plastic.It would be nice to see an area for exercise, just some static equipment, pull up bars, dip bars ect.Plenty of facilities for kids but the message being sent is once you are an adult everything stops.It shows.

Clean and nice beach with trail. Has shades and kids play area.

What a great little park and lakeside. We went for a very enjoyable walk along the waterfront here. There are bike and pedestrian paths, a large playground, mini golf, snack bar and a Tim Hortons just off the path. This was a nice little outing and change of pace.

I absolutely love the boardwalk I think it is so amazingThe view of the water is unreal

Amazing for evening strolls or runs, parks for kids, ice cream shop, lake swim. Very special place.

The trail is flat and accessible for people with strollers, requiring motorized assistance vehicles or wheel chairs. The boardwalk is pretty well maintained and provides many access points to beaches, parks, and other outdoor entertainment.I only gave 4 stars for two reasons:1) often there is garbage and broken glass along the trail/beach by the picnic tables and the tree line2) there is quite a height drop from the boardwalk to the beach. I brought my older parents there last summer and they could barely step down off of the boardwalk to the beach without having to hold on to my shoulder for balance. A ramp or something might be a useful addition.All in all the boardwalk is well maintained (structurally) and a very enjoyable walk to take regardless of the season!

The waterfront does have a boat launch. Well kept boardwalk and many branches to sit and enjoy the views. It is a great place to visit if you are in the town.
