It's small, but you can tell all of the veggies are harvested either the same day or the night before.Very fresh

River Heights Farmers’ Market
Not what I was expecting as a Farmers Market, but so far is good for what it is. Maybe because I had high expectations (like permanent facilities that open all-year round, with huge complete vendors like in Saint Norbert Farmer's market). Everybody obviously can chat with our Manitoba growers, artists, farmers, while shopping. There are many varieties (although not as diverse as St. Norbert's) - food or non-food, but it is good for what it is! For me, I came here to check it out, but River Heights Farmers' Market may only be my alternatives.Recommended for a small farmer's market!

Don't care for the other one star review. Stating a white woman got better service. If you were standing there so long buy something or move on. Or maybe ask a question. Just because you were not waited on hand and foot don't think for a minute it has anything to do with race? That's too easy . My feelings are hurt because I was not actually treated unfairly but I felt like I was maybe treated unfairly. The world is an unkind place when all you do is look for it. See the good in people and and be nice anyways. Regardless of your or other peoples race.

River Heights Farmers’ Market
We love the River Heights Farmers' Market from July to Sept each year. We stop by every Friday to pick up our veggies and treats from the wonderful ladies from the Hutterite colony. There are flowers, crafts, soaps and honey, in addition to several veggie sellers.

Tried getting some honey today, don't know if he was racist and was ignoring me or not? Another white woman came to the stand and he immediately acknowledged her and tended to her. If not, could have easily said that he'd be a few seconds instead ignoring a potential long time customer. I'll find myself local honey else where.
