An excellent and welcoming stop to make if you're driving through Kakabeka. Great cookies and iced teas, and they also helped us find an outlet to plug in our laptop. Outdoor seating and cosy decor!

When the highway was closed for a few hours, we stopped here for a rest and some food. We tried the pizza, sliders, cubano, and some doughnuts. It was all wonderful, lots of flavour. The coffee was excellent as well. Service was amazing. The shop is small though, and with the seating area closed, we had to eat out in the car. For grab and go, this place is worth a stop.

The kind of place that makes your day on a long drive or camping adventure. Great coffee and baked goods, with plenty of outdoor seating (front and back).The day I visited a bunch of local folks were at the patio discussing gardening etc -- good vibes all around!

Super friendly service and very reasonable prices! $10usd for large mocha and chicken pesto panini. The mocha was a little too sweet for us but still good. While eating on the cute porch, we heard a local come back for more butter tarts, so I had to go back in and get one to go :). Very sweet and yummy and only $2US. The girl working knew most of the customer so it seems like a popular place with the locals. Can’t go wrong with that :)

I stopped in this place after visiting the local falls and what a great place. it was truly like going to someone house and having a coffee with friends. An incredibly welcoming place and town.

To begin with, this rustic looking cafe was 2 min walking distance to where we stayed. Our host recommended having a breakfast here! The owner/staff of the cafe was extremely polite. We are vegetarians and we ordered a vegetarian wrap which was the only option available. We understand that there might not be much people ordering veg food and it was a very early breakfast time where we assumed the cafe to be super busy. It got super busy and yet the staff was so accommodating and made us a fresh vegetable wrap which tasted amazing with simple ingredients! The coffee was delicious too. Absolutely loved it!

Such a great place. Desperate for a coffee and something to warm up with after visiting the falls really hit the spot. Great serve and so friendly. Definitely recommend.

We went there on the way to kakabeka falls and found this hidden gem. The lady there is so welcome and jolly. The food is delicious, only regret we had was we didn't eat enough food. Must visit place if you are around.
