My favourite thing about the Y is that there is honestly a place for every body". Their group fitness instructors are incredible

They have a constant problem with lice. Their workers lie, and if you call them out on their lies you will get in trouble. Avoid their after school program at all cost ,unless you want lice every week. They hired multiple workers who got fired right away for inappropriately acting around the kids, and multiple times a month yo will get a phone call asking if your kid really needs to be in daycare today because we are short handed." Very unprofessional

Very very disappointed! I did all application forms on August 2 for my son ( the program: after school care ). Still nothing. I called a lot of time and texted messages on email manager about next step . Nothing after 4 weeks.The lady ( Tasha Mitchell) said me that they have available spot for Malaspina location.

This gym has gone so downhill, It’s turned into a playground for 16 year old boys with perms and white wife beaters to wrestle on the floor of the main weight rooms. The staff including management does the bare minimum, I’ve been told for over a year that they would be opening back to their normal hours of 5am with staffing issues" being the problem yet they have more staff walking around doing nothing than they ever have before. This gym has turned into a zoo with management doing nothing but doing laps with a smile on their face

The Prince George YMCA is a complete Joke! Every staff member is extremely rude an know nothing about there jobs! They have taken money repeatedly out of my account after they told me I no longer have a membership there!? Not to mention the manger is a complete Karen like I mean she's jerk!! Yelling right in customers faces making them feel like there nothing. She was also rude to my 10 year old son who was trying to better himself now he don't want to return because of her.

Fix the showers. I started going in 2018. Still....only 1 shower works properly in the mens change room.(because I tinkered with it 4 yrs ago.) Im bringing tools to my next workout....Also....they no longer provide loin cloths....I mean towels... the tiny towels they provided were the only executive type service that the ymca provided. Now that I'm returning to the gym after the pandemic, I have discovered that this service has been eliminated. Please bring back towels or I'm gonna tell my mom. then im gonna bring dads allen keys and vinegar to fix the showers.

Love being in this gym, the ladies are great super friendly the equipment is clean and in good working order and I don't feel pressured to buy more than I want. And I am thankful that they have financial assistance cause otherwise I'm low income and can't afford a big expensive membership. Best place by far thanks YMCA!

I have only gone to this location 2 times. Once about 4 years ago and again in 2023. Both times the receptionist has been rude, 2 different people. From the first interaction I didn't want to go back. The only reason I went back was for a birthday party. This receptionist was also incredible rude. They came across as though they didn't care, rude tone of voice as though how dare I interrupt them so they couldn't be on their phone, was the feeling I got from this personPoor signage, zero staff to help find the birthday room that is tucked at the very back behind a free weights area. The only reason I was able to find it is because a gentleman who was a member gave me directions ( that I could actually hear, as I had asked the receptionist but they mumbled the entire time).The person at the front desk was also eating and talking with their mouth full when my partner had gone in to get our kid. Not saying they shouldn't eat, but sad that they ha were eating while working vs not on break, or not given the option to have someone else watch the front desk so they could eat. Either way, I was not impressed yet again. Looking forward to never going back.

Came here for a couple drop ins and my BMI body fat percentage, had a great time. Both Katie and Brad helped me a bunch and were wonderful to be around.Highly recommend.

Wish I never put my kid in this day care unfortunately with circumstances I have no other choice
