Took family and friends here for Father’s Day supper and was a tad disappointed. I will start by saying that all of the staff were immensely friendly and provided a great, warm and inviting atmosphere.I was really looking forward to trying the curry chickpeas and vegetables, which is on the menu on the website, but not on the menu at the restaurant. First disappointment. Second disappointment came when trying the mushroom strudel, which I just did not like and didn’t eat more than one bite. My friend, who absolutely loves mushrooms, found it inedible as well. I think if maybe the contents of the strudel were blended to create more of a mushroom pate, and some more seasoning, it might taste a lot better. I ordered a side of root fries in hopes of at least eating something, but I found those undercooked and greasy and only ate a few.My father and son ordered the Larkins club and were expecting more of an ‘elevated’ traditional club sandwich- they were disappointed to see that the chicken thigh was one big piece of deep fried chicken that tasted like fish (assuming everything is deep fried in the same oil).My husband had the fish and chips and found it to be just fair.I will say that two of our party are big seafood fans and did very much enjoy the muscles and the seafood spaghetti.2/5 Will not be returning.

Great local restaurant with a casual vibe. We ate here several times while vacationing near Thunder Cove. Staff was consistently friendly and the food was quite decent. The on-site bakery was also a nice treat. Make sure to grab a bag of chocolate chip cookies for the road!

Excellent service, atmosphere, and food quality. Tried four apps (chicken wings, oysters of the day, pork belly and crab cakes) and all were excellent! Seafood spaghetti was outstanding according to my Islander aunt, as was the brisket dinner according to my need farmer uncle. We had fish and chips and it was excellent! Highly recommended Ship to Shore for a date night, visit to the island, or family dinner.

Amazing dinning experience, family owned restaurant in Darnley, PEI. Felt just like home here, some of the best food on our visit. If you are in the area, definitely check it out. Would recommend anything on the menu! (Wish we had a place like this back home.)

We had an excellent experience at Ship to Shore. The food was excellent and quick. In addition, our server Tressa was attentive and personable as well, including catching an error in the food and correcting it.Highly recommend!

A casual, local place. The oysters were fresh and the crabcakes were delicious. A limited wine menu and even more limited availability. Better to stick with beer. The screened patio was great as the sun went down.

Small portions for the price you pay. Seven of us dined there for lunch today, and only the two people who ordered lobster dishes were happy with their meals. The scallop lunch platter was $22 but not worth it for the portion size; the chicken and waffles were just wrong (waffle cup filled with soggy salad with pieces of chicken on top), the chicken breast was smaller than my palm; and the crab risotto --where was the crab? And the pork ribs had such a nasty smell that they offered me 1/2 price off. While we appreciated the gesture, my stomach now hurts.

The wait staff was very polite and extremely knowledgeable when it came to the food. I would highly recommend going here. Our waitress knew everything in all the foods. (We had allergy restrictions) They were all great when it came to helping customers whom did not speak English or French to understand and translate the menu as well.

Enjoyed a very relaxing evening with friends, which was very much created by the friendly attentive waitress who served our table. She was delightful and described all the mouth-watering food choices so eloquently, which added to our entertaining experience.We will be back with more friends very soon.Kind regardsAndrew.
