The Pantry Fine Cheese
This is a hidden gem of a store! Only discovered it because of The Pairing Club event and now it is a favourite of ours! Jeremy, the owner is super knowledgeable and friendly. This is the place to go for local cheeses and lovely treats (jams, crackers, spices, sardines etc).We love this place! Highly recommend.

A small, friendly neighbourhood store with a surprising range of excellent cheeses - and well-stocked with other gourmet specialities like olives, jams and pickles. I highly suggest asking for a recommendation here, I found a new favourite cheese by putting myself in the capable hands of the staff.

Great range of quality specialty foods, and super nice folks working there. If you let Kim guide you to try cheeses you've never had, you won't be disappointed. Their bake-at-home sausage rolls were really good too, with flaky buttery pastry.

We did the Spanish wine & Canadian cheeses tasting recently at the nearby Mess Hall. Highly recommend! It was a lovely evening and Jeremy is so very knowledgeable. The pairings were delightful and we look forward to learning more in the future. Such a treat to have such a great spot in the neighbourhood!

Jeremy is fantastically authentic with a true love and enthusiasm for cheese. Every cheese is Canadian, and he has assembled an exceptional selection of delicious cheese. I'm pretty sure he could point on a map to the pastures where the cows that make each cheese graze - he knows that much about each producer and cheese. We have also been regular attendees at the cheese/beer pairing nights that he puts on and they are fantastic value and a wonderful time. Highly recommend the five brother's cheese, and if you are lucky enough to be around when the reserve is in stock you should definitely get some.

Absolutely wonderful little shop with delicious products - the cheeses, yes, but also heat&eat meals. I found this gem through TGTG and loved the burrata stratiatella on Crostini. Can’t wait to try the Mac & cheese!The construction in front of the shop must make it rough for the shop, but green P parking is just a skip and a jump away, so definitely check out the shop and the many other little vendors on the street.

My favorite cheese store in the East side. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very rare and exceptional Ontario and Quebec cheese + various expensive groceries.Try their goat cheddar, try the Ashley, try the Five Brothers cheese.They also have continuous supply of raclette cheese. Enjoy !

The Pantry Fine Cheese
It was my first time buying cheese from a cheese store and I had no idea what to get. Jeremy picked out 3 cheeses for me (two local, one from PEI) and all of them were amazing. That grainy 3 year Cows Creamery cheddar...! He was also very nice and knowledgable. Can't wait to go back and try more cheeses.
