City of Refuge Apostolic Church

I attended this church with my family, and it was a very close-knit family-type group church.The pastors were very lovely and friendly; the people were friendly.It functions like an ordinary church, except that the services are in the afternoon, so I would probably go to a morning service at another Pentecostal type church and then to this church for an afternoon service.I'm used to spending my whole Sundays in a church building with my family growing up, so that is fine.It's good if you have youth and children who are not morning people and want to attend an afternoon service.The pastor was always lovely to me, and the first lady always supported her pastoral husband. The youth pastor is a young gentleman learning to take over for his parents, and he's quite the academic. He's very articulate. He's also multi-faceted. He doesn't just preach; he plays the drums too.It is a growing church; I highly recommend it as a place to visit and worship.I don't know how the Sunday School portion works. From what I recall, there is an adult Sunday school, a youth Sunday school, and a Children's Sunday school, and because it's a close-knit family church, everyone goes into one of the three classes.Anyhow, check it out if you're looking for a home-church and want a close-knit family outside your family!
