Galaxy Cinemas Brantford

My daughter and her friends went to celebrate a birthday and they did a decent job. However when it was time to settle the bill a young coworker who had never hosted parties before was left in charge and the prices we were quoted was not what we were charged. We were told for a set price foods were included, tickets were included and the party room. When we received our bill this was not the case we were charged almost 200 dollars over the price quoted as all the food was charged separately as well as some of the tickets. After going in circles for like 20 minutes with this person we finally caved to just be able to leave. We are not the type of people to walk out and not pay. So we paid even though we tried to explain this to the kid in charge. He said this is what he believed was the bill call and speak to the party person tomorrow they can fix it for you if this isn’t it. Well we called over 6 times in a span of two weeks. Never had a phone call returned. Went in she was not available. Was told she was not in or she had the message and would get back to us. We lost out on a huge amount of money because we trusted the wrong person and no one bothered to set it right. Absolutely disappointed and the worst part I would have used them again if it wasn’t for this because the kids had fun. Beware of your bill. They lost a future customer for other parties cause I have more then one kid.

First time here. Decent place, very clean. Theatre tickets appear to have gone down in price and price for snacks and drinks has skyrocketed. I’m not the biggest fan of automated ticket kiosks, but hey. Regardless, this is definitely a well run place. We will be back.

Great service, great movies and great atmosphere. This theatre in particular has always been clean, and the seats are not too uncomfortable; the typical movie theatre chairs. Overall satisfied with every experience thus far and will continue to choose this location for future visits :)

Honestly I usually love this place but my resent visit wasn't good at all. 3 of the 4 fountain drink machines were out of pretty much everything (pop base, flavours, etc). I was also ignored by the person who usually scans the tickets (and it wasn't one of the floor workers, it was management). Now on the other hand, when the movie was over one of the floor workers (there to clean the theater) did thank me for coming and that did bring up the stars. I will be returning and hope they can do better as they have in the past.

Went to see the movie Dog. It was amazing.Today I didn't have to show a vax pass. That was awesome. They have self serve pop machines that dispense lots of flavours.They have a mini arcade. A sitting lounge and polite staff.The theatre was clean, and bit too busy . There were only 3 other couples in the movie with us. All in all, it was a great experience and I will be back again!Thanks!

Very indifferent to be honest. It's not great but it's not bad either. Very typical theater on a bit of the smaller side.I will say points for comfy seats!Lots of snacks to choose from including dinner options like burgers and pizza, frozen yogurt, and the Classics.Small arcade, as well as party rooms available for birthdays.

Overdue for a renovation. Old seats worn out and uncomfortable. The popcorn is good. Sounds isn't played too loud like some theatres which is nice. Still too outdated when we have nice seats at the Cineplexes in Kitchener and Cambridge.

While the Theatre was clean, and the attendants were very polite, the theatre itself is so uncomfortable. The seats constantly make you feel like you’re being pushed off and you really have to hold your feet on the back of the chair in front of you, just to be comfortable. Me and my girlfriend were there for 2 hours and we both agreed we wouldn’t be coming back. It stinks because it’s an amazing location, and has a lot of potential, I would just like a little more focus being out on the customer experience; because it doesn’t feel like the managers have tried to watch a movie there themselves. Happy to comeback if the chairs ever get updated!

Always a place of fun to be with family and friends, Cineplex Brantford is one cool relaxation spot especially for new movies....saw Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse...Lovely!
