I didn’t take a picture of the drinks, but the drinks were excellent at this Leslieville spot.Went with a friend, cool vibes, good music, friendly staff.Would go back in the future, probably for one of their trivia nights.

Staying nearby with friends for a week, I never intended to visit this place as often! Infact it quickly became the daily local! All the dishes we ordered were clearly made to order and delicious, and the IPA is one to be reckoned with. As I type, we haven't visited for coffee......yet, but expect the same excellent standard. Oh and the staff are super friendly too. Only 2 days left, so will be calling for the coffee soon!

A great little find during our time in the area recently. One of the few independent coffee shops I found that offered (good) decaf and oatmilk coffee as an option.Enjoyed a takeout on a couple of occasions, and was always greeted with a smile and some cheery conversation. On another occasion we met friends there for lunch and the food was delish. Plus, they allowed the dog on the patio, provided her with water...and plenty of cuddles and attention!A great neighbourhood spot!

I've had pleasant experiences with most of the employees. There is this one male barista that is standoffish and rude, so if you get stuck with him then it won't be a great experience. The line is unclear and illogical. Really pay attention to where you need to order / pick up.Minimal seating on the inside. The bathrooms can be quite gross. I've been there with swarms of fruit fliesFood and drink are pricier than similar joints.

Totally hit the spot. Split the burger & the schnitzel sandwich. Had the deviled eggs as an appetizer. All items were fantastic and I would say fell under the category of elevated comfort food. Tasted of quality ingredients. Then enter the cocktails. I understand they do excellent cocktails as an evening thing with their bartender talent, but the afternoon drinks were perfect and went really well with the food. Had seconds! Again, quality ingredients. Real citrus juice. Finished off with sticky toffee pudding. Very nice & thankfully not excessively sweet. Place has an easy warm local neighborhood vibe. Eager to return!

The place is pretty calm and has a very nice vibe. The lady that attended us was super nice and told us about the specials. We ended up ordering the deviled eggs which were very good. We also ordered the duck leg sandwich and porchetta. Both were very delicious and plated nicely. It wasn't to busy and items seemed reasonably priced for the quality it was. Would return to try other items.

I loved my visit here. What a cool, trendy café and patio! We came for a pint of beer, but stayed longer to have their perogies with chorizo and some some cookies with an americano.

I've visited the cafe on Sunday during lunch time, it was very busy - many families with children - it is a kid friendly place, but also regular independent coffee shop crowd: people sipping their coffee while reading or working on their laptops. delicious coffee as always (and yes, there is regular 10% coffee cream available now), plus cookies, pastries and sandwiches. The place is fully licensed, so you can get beer or something stronger there as well! A beautifully decorated interior - there is also another room in the back with more tables, if you're looking for a quieter spot.if you find a moment check out the graffiti on the east and south walls of the building - (they are from the times when the cafe was called Flying Pony) - super cute and very instagramable. My previous review from early months of 2022.it is so nice to see this place reopened. This used to be cafe and art gallery named Flying Pony, I am curious whether the partially changed name indicates totally new ownership/management, or just means new beginnings for the established business that closed during the Covid lockdown?coffee is good, so are the Christmas cookies that I had tried.the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, five stars for that, they seem to be really nice and genuine in their attitude toward all guests, it is something that one doesn't encounter very often these days...my only wish is that the place offered self-served sugar/milk/cream stand, as so many other cafes already do. for shy people it is a bit of a challenge to ask the barista for additional sugars and cream - not to mention that they use 5% coffee cream instead of the usual 10%.it is wonderful to see this place reopened after such a long time, and back in the neighbourhood. lots of seating place - a treat for bigger groups - a semi private room with a communal table at the back, perfect for caffeinated meetings.

Great local spot for delicious coffee, really good savoury and sweet snacks and sandwiches and pastries, and great beers too. Friendly staff and it's a good place to get some work done during the day. Oh, and a nice little patio.
