Quinte's Isle Campark

This is our first time bringing our RV into Canada. We did not run into any issues crossing into Canada from the U.S.A. We are staying at this resort for the Grand Design RV Owners rally and it is beautiful here! Over 2500 acres, but it doesn't feel crowded at all. The sites and well maintained and the park models are very nice! They are adding on near the lake, so I'm excited to come back in 2024 to see the new additions. There are two pools plus the lake, so there is room for everyone, plus the fur babies! You can rent golf carts on site, which I highly recommend, especially if you do not have a bicycle / scooter with you and/or you have any mobility issues. There are some low hanging trees (below 13') coming into the campground and the road is pretty rough. Once you get here though, you forget about the rough roads. We plan on going exploring outside the campground tomorrow after the rally is over. My lab has been swimming in the lake every day and loves it! I will definitely be back and hope to get one of the lake front sites!

Great campground location. 10 minutes drive to Outlet beach in Sandbanks. Cleaniest campground ever saw. An absolute must try, whether you are in a tent, fifthwheel or renting one of their cottage/trailer.

This resort is a 10. Just a wonderful place. We visited for the Grand Design Ontario Rally this past weekend. Our family cottage is near to this park, so we have never been there, but after attending the Rally, we will definitely be back! Resort is immaculate, spacious, easy to navigate with a large trailer and a very enjoyable place. Three pools, two splash pads, a restaurant with an incredible view and great food, spacious, large sites with full hookups, fabulous view, two VERY well stocked stores. Rent a golf cart to get around if you don't carry one with you - it is a long run between campgrounds. The family who runs this place clearly cares very much about it and their customers. Everything was spotless and so well looked after. Thanks for a great visit!

Excellent family owned camp ground . Well organized , good amenities and even a pub on Lake Ontario ! You will not be disappointed , we have had a cottage here for 7 years and would highly recommend the Ward Family & Quinte Isle Campark !

Beautiful sites and a beautiful setting. Last year we were in Pebble Beach at the waterfront, and this year we are in the upper section in the 300's. Fantastic!

Excellent campground! Many sites. Unfortunately it was 2 km walk to the beach. Clean restrooms and showers and the small store has just about anything you might need.Going back for a second week at the end of June!

This is our happy place. We come every year and we are never disappointed. Staff are friendly and the care of the property and facilities is A++. It's a beautiful place. Lots of activities for all ages.

We had a seasonal trailer here. We lasted four years before we couldn’t take it anymore and sold. No family atmosphere, very crowded, pools overflowing all season due to tourists-beach uncomfortably rocky. Unfriendly fromt counter staff. I’d *maybe* visit for one night but don’t recommend purchasing a trailer. There’s no ‘vacation’ to be had here.

We have been at the park for 3 years and it’s just an amazing well managed vacation destination. Well done Ward Family

We had a seasonal trailer. We enjoyed the first few years but the last few was not the same. Park fees outrageous as they can decide on what percentage to raise them. When your park fees are more then your home taxes it's time to move on. When you buy they don't tell you that they have to sell your unit with the high cost of 8% for selling it and then it's up to you to show the new owners all about the unit. The park it not a family oriented but a business and how to make more money. Some rules apply to some and not to others. The park is getting way to big to fast and is not the family atmosphere it once was.
