I think I've found a new spot to shop for vinyl records. This shop is in a pretty good location and has a lot selections for you to choose. Very clean shop, and amazing staff. Derek and his team are truly amazing and knowledgeable of their stuff. Would certainly come back here again.

This is an incredibly wonderful place to be!I found Derek’s store while Googling local music stores that carried Phil Collins’ The Singles vinyl. I was almost committed to buying from Amazon which had it on sale, a decent price. Google presented me with Pop Music that was offering the exact same record at a MUCH cheaper price!!!I went with my kids and we were treated to a VERY well stocked, very clean store, incredibly well organized and pleasant people to talk to. Derek and the other employee (sorry didn’t get his name) are very well knowledgeable about music and artists, they can help you easily.It is a bit of a drive for me coming from the west end of Toronto but after seeing what Pop Music is all about and meeting the owner, I am a fan for life. I am 101% for supporting privately owned businesses and Derek will be seeing me more in the future. Thanks Derek and more power to Pop Music!(Went for 1 record and left the store with 3 records and 3 keychains!)

I went to Pop Music recently for the first time for Record Store Day 2023. Prior to attending, I had emailed the store as well as contacted them via social media about the stock that they had. The responses were always quick, friendly, and accurate. I came to Record Story Day at 4am and waited outside in the rain until 8am for the store to open. I loved that all RSD titles were on the wall for easy visibility instead of in a bunch of bins you had to flip through. The store was small, but they can fit a surprisingly large amount of records in there. They had a great selection. I love the idea of a record store that focuses on new issues/reissues instead of bins of old records. Flipping through vintage finds has its time and place, but Pop Music had SUCH an amazing stock of artists I find hard to locate elsewhere! All the staff were incredibly friendly. Derek also walked through the line outside to check in with people and let everyone know how the organization was done inside. I will definitely be coming back!

Web shop is easy to navigate, and I love how there’s always a detailed description for each album.If you place an order online for in-store pick up, usually ready for pickup within hours.Pricing is definitely very competitive! It may not be one of those places you can drown yourself in vinyls for hours at a time, but it’s becoming less and less niche every year. Get ready to get there early for the next RSD lol
