Alamo Rent A Car

I have to give one star as I am not allowed to give negative star that fits my negative experience with Alamo. I had to attend a funeral in ottawa early this month. needed a big vehicle and found one at the London Ontario airport location. booked online to pick up at 9.30 PM and got a confirmation number. went there half hour earlier to pick up as I was going to leave very early the next day to Ottawa and to my shock I was told my vehicle was not available. the person at the counter said she had called to inform me but it went to my voice message so she didn’t leave a message!(?)to top it all, when I said there was no call from any Alamo numbers she said she had called from a line the number of which would not be displayed. so no number to call back and no message left to know about what had happened I was supposed figure all these out from a display on my phone of an unknown call.Missed the funeral and contacted them about this and I got an email reply saying it will be looked into and pretty much that’s all so far. such a deterioration of customer service from what it used to be in this sector.Update:I did get a call back after some time. it was a voice message within which the caller hadn’t left any call back number. the number on the phone display for that message was from an Egypt (!) number. didn’t bother calling back :)

Our family asked for a 7 seater car but was provided with six seater. I was travelling to montreal in Canada day weekend . The staffs said that what I rented and it got me frustrated but I very much appreciate the prompt action from branch manager Pasha. He helped me get another vehicle right away. I think this is how you should handle a situation of urgency. I got a very nice vehicle. They have good customer service and the manager was calm and helpful.Will definitely rent again from Alamo motors.thankyou

Great service. Employees very friendly. They had to upgrade our rental as I had booked a 7 seater and they only had 6 seats SUV's. Definitely would rent from them again.

I DON'T recommend this company at all. I made a reservation, the reservation was confirmed and when I arrived they simply said that they didn't have any car available for me. They said they tried to reach me out, but there wasn't any phone number, but because they DIDN'T ask for a phone number on their website, my email was on the reservation and they didn't reach me out by email. I saw another comment here saying the same thing, if you are arriving from another city or country or have something VERY important to do, don't book with Alamo in London. Even the employees said that this is routine"

Always great service from this location. The staff is super friendly and efficient. This is definitely my go-to for my vehicle rental needs

Flight was delayed and due to arrive about 30 minutes after closing. I called to make sure that they would be there. I was reassured that they have my flight information and not to worry as policy to wait up to 2hr for delayed flights.Sadly when I arrived they were closed.Called them in the morning to complain. The supervisor (Bhavneet) told me that it was a stupid US only policy that they are free to ignore. Then hung up on me. Very classy.

I was very pleased. Payment and deposit return was efficient and easy. Chad, sales rep, was fantastic. He gave me a great upgrade and brightened my day. Small acts of kindness go a long way.

quick service and amazing employees.From exiting the cab to receiving they keys I was in my rental in under 5 minutes fr.I also rented here a few years ago and think I spoke to one of the same people within the kiosk when I rented today which was niceWonderful experience every time

Micheal was Awesome! He had me booked and processed in under 5 minutes! Found out I was going to be doing a ton of traveling for a wedding and suggested to upgrade to a brand new BMW for the rural driving. Wow - what a difference! Made all the driving this trip super enjoyable!Even after the trip was coming to a end - we wanted to extend the rental and add the significant other as a driver to use for a day. Micheal got her added quick and easy! Under 5 minutes again! Asked about how the wedding went, ect, ect. Just amazing customer services.I rent cars often for work trips. By far the best experience I've had.Keep it up!

Don't trust them with your in advance online booking.I got a call a day before my trip that I am on waiting list. I have lost all my hotel booking $$ and ruined my planned weekend.
