Sandbox Tattoos Ottawa

Just had my first tattoo today by an extremely skilled artist . I definitely recommend (Dang Tattoos). Did such a beautiful job on this piece. I will definitely be back soon 5/5 From me

So the tattoo itself came out great, you can tell the artists got real talent. The reason it’s not a 5 stars is everything else so this is NOT a review of the tattoo but more about the appointment experience.So take in consideration that I was able to book less than a week before, my guess is that it’s due to a cancellation so it may explain some things.So to put it in short I booked my appointment, they (who I assumed was the artist) contacted me to know what was my project, I sent pictures and explained so I assumed that like other tattoo shops I experienced, the artist would have came up with different designs, then we figure out placement after I choose one then here we go. They told me it should take 2-3 hoursWhat actually happened, the artist asked me what I wanted which had me surprised because I already sent it to them when they contacted me, which led to the artist having to design/place the tattoo, which took around 2 hours, the tattoo process was good tho, but at the end of the day, what was supposed to be a “2-3 hour tattoo” ended up being 5 ,and since you’re paying an hourly rate, two of those hours were solely designing which, in my opinion and past tattoo experience, should have been done prior to the appointment.And if the designing is included in the appointment, then why ask me after booking what I wanted?So again, I assume this was due to my appointment being a last minute one and at the end of it, the tattoo looks great, just everything else felt really rushed.

Went for the first time today and already planning on going back. Great atmosphere, good music and super customer service. Really happy with the end result and you can’t ask for better prices ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Mo is the best tattoo artist I've had. He definitely has a passion for art and attention to detail that's unmatched. The service at the shop is incredible and the price HONESTLY can't be beat!

Love this place. Ambience, artist especially Dang, really awesome. If you are thinking to get a tattoo in ottawa, must visit and consult. Highly recommended.

I found this place on Facebook advertising a Tapout challenge for a set price... well, they didn't disappoint, in fact they gained a customer for all my future ink. I had Dang, clean... good lines... and personable. Cool guy!The owners were both fantastic, even took a video of one of my pieces as it was being done. High five to these guys, clean establishment and awesome experience.Well done !!!

I seen Sandbox on Instagram promoting their top out challenge which is a 10 hour session for $999 (I did this twice).I got a hold of the shop spoke to the owner who talk to me and walk me through everything. I set up an appointment to go over what I wanted. STONER (Andy) did my tattoos. He is probably one of the best what he does he give him your ideas tell him what you want, and then he runs with it in the best way possible. I don’t always write reviews especially when they’re good BUT sandbox and STONER DEFINITELY DESERVE IT. CLEAN SHOP CLEAN STATIONS AND JUST AN OVERALL FUN AND WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK. THANK YOU STONER (ANDY)
