Sports Alpins

Nice campground close to Mont Ste-Anne bike trails.

Since the Monte-Ste-Anne website isn't very helpful: For cross-country skiing, skip the downhill area entirely and head to the road called Rang Saint-Julien. Get your day pass at the pay gate, and proceed to Sports Alpins, which is the lodge (Accueil) for the XC area. Rentals, sales, snacks and trailheads for 182 km of trails for all levels. This is the largest XC ski area in Canada, and it is marvelous!

Went here to go fat biking (we rented them, and we are experienced riders as well) . 3/4 of the trail was terrible. Not properly maintained at all. Most of the day was spent walking beside the bike. We were never advised about the trail conditions, and when we brought it their attention when we got back they replied; oh yes it's like that at this this time of year

The store is quite small but well stocked with quality clothing brands from Craft, Swix and Salomon. They also sell cross country skis, boots etc. You can also rent cross country skis, boots, snowshoes and fat tire bikes. Very helpful staff.
