Food was mouthwatering, packed full of flavour and authentic tasting in every bite, and so worth the visit. Full servings! Servers were personable and helped make the experience what it was. Authentic feel for atmosphere and decor. Had too long of a wait for our meals though - grateful we had a few appetizers to tie us over. Gave only 4 stars for the long wait, but otherwise deserves a 5 ⭐️Would still highly recommend!

Food was great and portions were big but the neighbourhood is a little rough. The restaurant was completely empty when we were there and it was a little weird because the server was very pleasant to us but then we could hear her yelling at the back end staff. The experience as a whole was good enough and therefore 4 stars.

The food was amazing !The service is slow but its not bothering as its a family owned restaurant and the food is getting made fresh , definitely worth waiting as the food was really tasty and fresh .Our dishes were canneloni alla toscana ( chicken) and fettucini verde alla golosa and both were excellent

I can’t say enough good things about Trattoria restaurant. The service was warm, friendly and welcoming. They placed the napkins in our lap and brought out focaccia bread and oil which was lovely. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and the batter was perfect, seasoning spot on, and the dipping sauce was divine (I think homemade). The main course was phenomenal. I ordered the Gnocchi Russa and couldn’t have made a better selection. The gnocchi was perfectly tender, and the sauce was the ideal balance of cream and tomato. I ordered a cocktail which was perfectly poured. The ambience was romantic with very Italian-style finishings, and romantic Italian jazz to fit the mood. The restaurant was spotless and the washrooms were pristine. I will most definitely return.

Giving four stars because we had to wait an unreasonable amount of time to be served. Otherwise, this would have been an easy 5. The food is great. Portions are pretty big. If you're not very hungry you can probably share.This was my second time here. Last time we did lunch. Consistent experience.

Great food and service. We have been customers of this restaurant for years and the food is consistently good. As important as the food is the service and care given by the waitress - it would be great if she had assistance but she makes it work and clearly cares a great deal about the place and the customers. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a nice evening out and a good Italian meal.

The food is to die for and the fact they have one server running around serving everyone is crazy but she kills it.A lot of people go here for special occasions or a nice night out so don't come dressed bummy. You're here for a nice night out on the town and good wine pairing, not just coming home from work and stepping into a Cactus.Make it a thing because it's a special place and with a unique interior and paintings. And get a proper 3-5 course meal, it's going to be great like it was for me.
