Delish! We both had the fish and chips with sweet potato fries. Perfectly cooked. Ate here on the way home from Bonnechere Caves. Highly recommend!

The pub is awesome. It's a small pub like a pub should be. They have Murphys beer and it tastes like a real Murphys from Ireland with waterfall in the glass so you know it was a good pour. In the summer there is a patio too. I had the avalanche Burger and gravy for my fies and it was a perfect sized serving and tasted great.

Food was ok but not stellar. The schnitzel was average... Really disappointed that they charged 3$ just because my husband and I wanted to split a sandwich. I haven't run into that in years...toilets in the reception area are small and dank...

Took a day trip to Renfrew after camping on Mazinaw Lake. Found this quaint little restaurant with wonderful servers and a patio for seating right now, (due to Covid-19). It was a little noisy being right at the road but beggars can’t be choosers. The real reason for the 5 stars was the food. Simply delicious! I had the nachos which had broiled cheese on-top and more than satisfied my hunger. Friends with me had the fish, A+ rating given; as well as “tasty quesadillas”, “moist schnitzel Cesar wrap”, and “Spicy but flavourful buffalo chicken wrap”. All-in-all, a great stop for a bite, excellent food, and dynamite service.

I can't speak for the food, but I've sat in the we dies parking lot eating lunch today and from across the street I can tell you have a MAJOR rodent issue....running from the biege door to the Wierd black wooden thing with the light on it. They are running back and forth almost constantly.

Food was delicious (I had to get the schnitzel and it was worth it), the atmosphere was exactly what I hoped and the staff was charming. It was a great experience and I will make the trip out for another delicious meal again in the future.

Wonderful service and a giant patio for social distancing drinks, these guys have really nailed their stage 1 reopen, we had an absolute blast.Also they make calzones that Ben Wyatt would die for
