Was referred to 91 Waterloo by a close friend who has used Jay for years. Amazing first experience, excited to have an excellent locally owned barber moving forward.

Krystle has been cutting my hair for a few years now, she is great! Always leave loving my cut and colour. Rest of the salon is always super friendly. Great salon downtown Guelph!

After several years of accompanying and waiting for my wife while she had her hair done (she doesn’t drive), I decided to have my hair cut here. Krystle does a great job, she listens to what I want and I am 100% satisfied. Another thing I really appreciate is unlike the previous location there is ample free parking. I wish Jay and his team all the best and continued success.

Phil is a great stylist. I was looking for something a little different than the usual barbershop skin fade and Phil was of enormous help and styled my hair perfectly. The haircut was great and the conversation was just as smooth.Very impressed by the first visit. The salon's decor is top-notch as well and very inviting.

I never leave reviews however, I’m extremely impressed with 91 Waterloo. Go see Jason! He is an absolute professional and takes care of you 100%. The environment of 91 Waterloo is extremely welcoming and has a beautiful aesthetic. My hair looks amazing and I left the salon feeling confident! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I have known Jason, the owner since 1990. He was a great person then and he continues to lead by example with his business today, Eros. His professionalism, personable nature and knowledge of the business is incredible. I have personally been going to him monthly since 2010(!). His staff are friendly, warm and helpful. Highly recommended!

I've been coming to Eros Hair Studio for about 10 years now and leave happy every single time. I won't let anyone else touch the colour of my hair. Naturally a brunette but have been blonde ever since. It's not easy trusting someone with creating a fine balance between being blonde and maintaining healthy hair. Jay has been on point in doing so! He is extremely nice, professional and wants to ensure his clients leave happy.

Late for appointments multiple times now with no apology. So disorganized! Also a bit dirty inside - it always looks like its in need of a good vacuuming and overall update. If you’re going to offer slippers in the winter season at least make sure they’re clean - or better yet, plastic! You just place them back on the rack (not in a used basket) so, essentially you could be wearing the slippers someone’s sweaty feet were just in. Gross. Won’t be returning.

Jay is among the best in the business. We have been coming to get cuts here ever since he moved in to this beautiful location. Thanks for keeping us looking our best!

I don't like sharing bad reviews but I feel like I have an obligation to warn others so they don't ruin their hair.If you are going for a hair cut or a normal dye then this place is totally fine but if you want to have your hair transition into another colour like a BALAYAGE OR OMBRE DO NOT GO HERE. (I'm bolding because it is the most important takeaway)I wish I took pictures but right after I left I quickly booked an appointment with a different hair salon and got my hair fixed (as best as it could) the next day.I got a balayage and there was absolutely no transition from my normal hair to the dyed colour. There was a very line all around my head and there were even some patches missing.This was over a year ago and my hair is still damaged from having to get bleached twice and I only every go to get my hair done once a year.I know now to ask a salon how often they perform a procedure before booking. They may have balayage listed but if the hairdresser doesn't do it often enough, they wont have the proper skills.
