If you are uncertain where to give birth, this is 100% the place you should choose! I had an unexpected placental abruption and needed an emergency c-section. Being 22, and this being my first baby, I was terrified. I had an initial plan for a unmedicated water birth so I was so anxious. My team of doctors and nurses were amazing! They were so reassuring and acted quickly to ensure me and my baby were safe and healthy. They held me while I got my epidural, and assured me they would be right next to me during my c-section. I felt so blessed to have such an amazing experience. I can’t stress enough how grateful I am for my team!

I had a wonderful delivery experience here. The nurses and staff are knowledgeable and compassionate and are true advocates for the patients. Everyone listened to me and went out of their way to make sure that my baby and I were well cared for. Additionally, the instruction provided by the nurses, lactation consultants, and pediatricians were very helpful for a first-time parent and allowed me to feel confident upon leaving the hospital. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I feel like I hit the jackpot with my nurses, Olivia and Pam. They were great support and advocates and I really felt like I had a good birth experience because of them.The space was easy to navigate and all the other supporting nurses and doctors were great.My lactation consultant was a bit pushy which was my only complaint.

I recently delivered my baby in the St. John hospital. I am glad that I made right choice. All the team members were great. Nurses; Emily, Molly, Shelly, Hanna and others were too cooperative. Nurse Emily was my support system at that time. During the labor, I could not handle the pain and I remember clinging on her, crying a lot and she was there saying “you can do it Hon”. I strongly recommend St. John hospital for maternity and child birth.

After rave reviews, I decided to go to St.Johns for delivering my twin babies this spring. Unfortunately my experience wasn't as pleasant as it was for others. The nurses were very sweet but I had an incredibly difficult time because there was no nursery which meant I had absolutely no sleep with 2 babies crying in my room all night and all day (I didn't have extra help because my spouse had to go home at night for our other children). I had to call the nurse line multiple times for help. The lactation consultant was also unpleasant. She basically told me that the pump I purchased wasn't good (it's Spectra and actually has phenomenal ratings) and told me to send it back and ask my insurance for a refund so I could get her recommended Medela" hospital pump. She also sized my flanges for pumping incorrectly and by the time I left the hospital my breasts were incredibly bruised and my milk supply was next to nothing. Once home

I have delivered 4 children here. I love the nurses and the atmosphere that’s why I keep going back. My last delivery which was a few days ago went amazing and I really appreciate all of the nurses I had. The only issue I had was my last nurses were to adamant on me breastfeeding and I’ve had 3 other kids there I’ve tried breastfeeding and it’s just not for me but I felt they were just a little pushy but other than that the other nurses were amazing and you have the right to ask for new nurses so this isn’t that big of an issue for me.

Gave birth to my daughter here in February and though I had originally planned to give birth elsewhere, I’m so glad I ended up choosing St. John’s! My first nurse Rebecca was amazing! Even my husband loved her lol. This was my first child & I feel like she did a wonderful job of trying to make me feel better & guiding me through everything. She even came back to check on us on her next shift even though she wasn’t assigned to us anymore! The rest of the nurses were all great as well & I had no complaints. If I ever get pregnant again, I’m definitely coming back & would honestly look forward to it!

I had the best labor and delivery experience! All the nurses and doctors genuinely care about you as a person and made me feel so welcome and heard about my wishes and concerns. I 100% would come back for any future kids. Thank you so much to my delivery team for being Rockstars ⭐️
