Well kept trails. The little ones had fun climbing the moss covered rocks and making up lots of stories. The Hermitage ruins are wonderful for making up stories too. A great place for adventure!

Loads of trails in an older growth Carolinian forest. Amazing trees and escarpment features, and the ruins are an added interest.

We love hiking the Dundas Valley hiking trails. We purchase the yearly conservation passes because if you go for a few hikes you get your money's worth. The kiddos love throwing rocks in the streams, looking for salamanders and climbing logs. It's great exercise for the whole family.

Very nice spot to visit. Besides the old Hermitage home there are many other reasons to visit. There are many trails to walk and hike. The trails are beginner level and good for kids. You can also visit the Hermitage Cascade which is a very nice water fall over Sulphur Springs Creek. I recommend checking it out for yourself.

Excellent location for mountain biking or trail walking. The trails are part of the fabled Bruce trail. Remnants of the historical building that once stood on these grounds has been restored.

It's ok. The historical value could be exalted, but it's just very small remains of what used to be". Great place for licensed photography shots

I was excited to see the Hermitage ruins after all the restoration work was done! Beautiful area with many trails to explore, however at this time of year you need boots with a good tread and maybe even a walking stick to help navigate some of the paths due to thick patches of ice.
