We got the staycation package and it felt like a mini getaway even though we only stayed for one night. Having drinks by the pool, enjoying the bar and brunch at yellow door bistro were highlights. The hotel needs a bit of upgrading but it is currently under renovation so I think they are working on it. No complaints. Enjoyed every minute! Close to lots of restaurants and bars too.

Although the room was exactly what I expected, I was expecting a better view and perhaps a change for a 2 nite stay. I firmly believe that I was put in this room because I booked using an OTA( hotels .com) and not direct book with the hotel. I know the occupancy was not 100%. I’ve worked in hotels, in Management and although the room was booked using the OTA, I would never assign a room with a service roof view! (Pipes etc). Based on the lack of concern and the check out staff not asking the “always to be asked question “- How was your stay with us?”.The in house staff was not friendly other than Jamar(?) at the bell desk. The hotel uses a text message system to communicate with guests but it appears to only ask questions and not act on them. I would definitely book somewhere else in the city next stay.I travel a lot and pay attention to everything. I was looking forward to this stay and it was a service disappointment.

After a horrible experience with Hilton I decided to take a colleagues suggestion and stay at the Hotel Arts. I have to say, very impressed. Dave who worked the front desk took care of me, and I didn’t even tell him about the horrible experience at Hilton. I think he just saw it in my eyes. Lol. This man needs to be in management. Friendly, accommodating, helpful and just a great person. The room was great too, clean, modern and very comfortable. Will definitely be back.

This hotel was not a great choice for our family. The Luxury" room was small for the price ($300 per night)

Nice looking hotel. I only stayed for two nights, and didn't get a chance to experience all of the amenities. The rooms are clean and modern, and the staff is friendly. I was here on business, so can't really speak to it's proximity to local attractions.

Great location and spectacular service. I enjoyed the ambience of the room and was quiet all night. I was very appreciative of their service for my first visit in Calgary.

Rooms, beds, and service was great. We had the top floor room but the balcony door and view was blocked due to maintenance. The hotel comp'd us breakfast at the yellow bistro and adjusted the room rate for the inconvenience. Way to make it right! And yellow bistro had a great breakfast and atmosphere. Location of hotel was great for hitting some downtown spots. Free parking underground was super convenient. Recommended!

I stayed for 1 weeknight evening using the travel zoo deal (balcony room with $50 food credit for $200 a night). No where during the reservation process or check in process was I told that very loud construction was happening on balcony rooms during my stay, and found out by being woken up by a man on my balcony at 9am grinding the concrete. I am assuming this is why they have the deal right now, I just wish I was told or given the option to not have a balcony. There was a fire alarm in the morning and it did not feel like staff were communicating as best as they could with hotel patrons. When I went to use the food credit at the bar, the bartender hadn’t heard of the deal and it took quite a while for it to be communicated properly so that I did not have to pay more than I should. It’s a fine hotel that’s marketed as a very nice hotel; the rooms could use updates (lighting is horrible, has no usb plugs in the rooms etc.) and it felt like the staff don’t really know what’s going on or have a care for customer service. For example, I asked for a wake up call at 7am and never got it. I also was told I needed to call on the day I wanted a pool reservation so I did that and then was told I didn’t need a reservation when I ensured to call to make it. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

I simply adore this hotel. From the gentleman on the street who are there to park your car, to the front desk staff, to the beautiful women who will take care of your room. But especially the service around the pool, this is one of the most beautiful hotels in Calgary if you want to relax and rejuvenate.

Fabulous upgrades from my last visit! The indoor/outdoor pool space and the lounge with the golf simulation was a great unique touch I've never seen before !
