Like many men, my husband did not originally understand why we needed a wedding coordinator. And honestly, I don't think he was fully convinced of their value until our wedding week actually hit. Now, he is a full on convert. Every couple we meet that is engaged he urges to hire one. He gushes about how amazing it was to not have to do anything on our wedding day and how we were able to be present and fully enjoy the day. Our coordinator, Stephanie, was incredible. Trustworthy, calm, fun, and a problem solver. Our wedding would not have been as perfect as it was without the NSE team - they literally took care of everything and we just showed up, got married and partied. Best money we spent.

We originally weren’t going to hire a day of coordinator but decided to so our friends and family could relax and enjoy our wedding day. I’m so glad we found northland special events! We worked with Stephanie and she was so helpful in answering our questions and helping us think of planning elements we hadn’t even thought to consider. She knew what she was talking about and was very professional. She and her assistants set up our venue so it was absolutely beautiful! The day went smoothly because of her! I’ve gotten so many compliments about how my wedding was so thoughtful and well-planned out, and that’s definitely in part because of Stephanie! Thank you northland special events!

We payed for a day-of coordinator for our August Wedding and after reading reviews and having an initial conversation with Mariah, I was very confident in my decision in choosing this company for my coordinator. While I had the impression that we would be working with Mariah, We ended up working with Kathy, who was very nice. However I am very disappointed and do feel that I wasted money on this service. I felt that the coordination was not coordinated well, and felt that the service provided was unprepared. The service also ended at 9PM, which I was under the impression that the service lasted all day. The coordinator did not do anything wrong, per say, but it felt as if she did not do much at all, and we would have been just fine without it. The reason I am giving 3 stars over 2 is because the wedding planning site that is provided is extremely helpful and I was able to stay very organized because of it.

Thank you to everyone at Northland Special Events for making our wedding the best day ever. Mariah and her team will do everything in their power to make your day special, beautiful, and an absolute dream come true. Through planning the flowers, rentals, timeline, and ceremony, Mariah and her team were there to calm my nerves every step of the way. If you need a planner, flowers, or rentals you can not go wrong with NSE they will go above and beyond to make your wedding the most amazing day ever!

I am so happy that Ellen with Northland Special Events was a part of my wedding day. We utilized their planning, decorating, balloon, and floral services which made our lives so much easier the day of the event. Ellen was a pleasure to work with and took care of all of our needs throughout the entire process. Both my wife and I were blown away with just how beautiful everything turned out, and also how much better our day went because of NSE. We highly recommend anyone to contact NSE if you are putting together an event you want brought to the next level.

I really don't even know where to begin. Northland Special Events was a godsend for our wedding. Right at the first phone call, I knew I would hire them. Lynda took my call and spent 20 minutes giving me venue ideas, etc. - at this point I hadn't paid them a thing and had received some of the best information I'd had . That's the kind of first impression that you never forget !Mariah got my vibe and what I was looking for even when I didn't know how to get my ideas across. Mariah and her team are the best of the best! Mariah made wedding planning seamless and stress-free. She took the time to get to know us and ensured our big day went off without a hitch. Mariah is clearly passionate about what she does. We are so glad we worked with her! If I could give NSE more than 5 stars I would -- you will not regret your decision to work with them on your big day!

NSE not only exceeded our expectations but blew them out of the water! I have known Mariah and her team for some time but to work with them on our wedding was a dream come true. Each meeting we had was a ton of fun and all of my visions, simply put, came alive on the day of the wedding! Thank you so much Mariah, Ellen, Sydney and all the rest of the crew who had a hand in making our wedding the best day of our lives. From our first meeting to the last I never questioned your abilities and expertise. Everything you did was flawless. All the floral, centerpieces, coordinating our rehearsal and our wedding day was well worth the pricing. This was my favorite expense because it made us the most happy and RELAXED. Mariah is literally a fairy godmother who made all my dreams come true.

From beginning to end, the team at Northland Special Events were so helpful. They made my wedding day absolutely perfect. From the first meeting I knew they had my back and they helped take a lot of stress out of the planning and set up for a nearly 400 person wedding. They did not miss a beat. They thought of everything down to the last detail of decorations and lighting. They even helped me run the wedding rehearsal the night before. I got to enjoy every last minute of my beautiful day because I knew NSE had everything under control. Their creative ideas and organizational management were everything I had pictured and more. They truly went above and beyond.
