Canadian Food Safety Training - IN PERSON & ONLINE

I wanna appreciate Ms. Laura and her family for doing this course, and also for sharing the story about your family. I am a CALC student and this course gave me a very detailed insight about food handling and challenged me towards success for getting this certificate. You guys are doing amazing and I’m hoping for the best!!!

My observation was that Laura is a very delightful person. Her presentation was fabulous and she answered all the questions that was put to her satisfactorily and supported all the attendees appropriately. Irene

Connie F here Everything was awesome; except when other registered students were not prepared. It upset the teacher and speaking for myself, I was a bit taken out of the ZONE I had been building learning new things! So, if your taking an online course, there are a few factors to consider. Please remember there are other people who have just as much a vested interest as YOU_Thank you for a great learning experience. Look forward to more online learning!

I just took the online Saturday class with training and the exam, and it was straightforward and easy. Laura is very knowledgeable and approachable. Also, taking the exam on zoom was successful and very simple. They mark you while you take the exam, which makes things move quickly in the best way. I 100% recommend it to anyone looking to renew or get their food handler’s certificate.

I would HIGHLY recommend Canadian Food Safety Training as the place to get your food handler certification. I had a wonderful experience. The delivery of the course was excellent and Laura Lee is clearly very knowledgable with a wealth of experience in the food industry. She was very considerate of non-native English language speakers and they also worked hard to support people with any technology issues who are taking the course online. They offer instruction and testing in a variety of languages at their location in Toronto as well. I was very impressed with the teaching techniques of Laura Lee. As well, I felt honoured and privileged to hear her begin the course with a land acknowledgment, and some elements of traditional indigenous teaching that relate to our relationship with the land and food. This is the way in person and online instruction for adults should be done. Very impressive.

It was easy and very convenient to do it from home, I was able to go back to my baby once I was done the test without any travel time. Laura did an great job, it was exactly what we needed for the exam.

Great session, instructor was clear and conducted the class with high level of professionalism. You made me enjoy every bit of learning about food handling, can’t wait for my certificate and to put all I learned into practice.
