Cindy took my dyed ends and blended in some subtle but gorgeous highlights. I usually feel restless and tired of sitting at the hairdresser for an extended period. Coffee, snacks and a relaxing atmosphere made the time fly by. I love my new hair.

I’ve been going to Steven for hair cuts for several years now! I always feel comfortable and relaxed during the appointments. He’s very attentive and kind. I decided I wanted to try bleaching my hair and having some fun colours put in, the placement he suggested was fantastic! Of course I’ll be back!

We bring our 4 year old son here to see Cindy. She does an amazing job and is so patient with him. His hair always looks great and we've never had a bad experience. Definitely recommend!

Booked an appointment online for next day slot with Michelle. Had an idea of what I was looking for and Michelle was able to more than deliver! She is a goddess! She took what I wanted and my lifestyle and skill level (none!) and created a cut that I LOVE! As a busy Mom, I always throw my hair in a bun, but now I want to wear my hair down and show off Michelle's awesome work! Thank you Michelle for helping this Mom feel more like herself again!

What an awesome experience! I was here recently for a makeup application for a friends event and Sarah was incredible. I don’t usually wear too much makeup, but Sarah talked to me throughout and applied the makeup based on my complexion and comfort level. I received compliments throughout the evening on how nice it looked. Would highly recommend!

I needed a new hairdresser in the Durham region and I am SO GLAD I found Steven!!! He is exceptional! For years I've been trying to get back to my natural hair colour and nothing worked until he came along!He's been doing my hair for about a year now and I haven't been happier. 100% recommend!

My entire family gets multiple services from Pin Ups on a regular basis and I can’t say enough praise about how professional they all are and always with excellent results. Michelle is our stylist and she is fantastic. She always does an incredible job and takes such care. She is the type who will always make sure her clients are happy with her work or she makes it right. Come to her and you won’t be disappointed. She will make you feel and look like a million bucks!! She is an exceptional person who works in an exceptional salon.

I had an amazing first experience at Pinups and Pompadours. Tieran Barrett gave me a gorgeous root touch up and style for a big event, and her colleague even graciously fixed my makeup -- for free- after a disastrous application by a big name chain.... Will be returning here for hair AND makeup, always! Highly recommend.

I was very disappointed with Michelle I chose to get a haircut because I saw a lot of positive reviews.When I went to dinner after the haircut, first my husband noticed that a small section of hair was longer than the rest. Of course I said it should be the angle problem, but continue to have other friends told me the same problem, I found that it was really irregular. I felt very helpless at the time. Why did this happen? That’s why sometimes the reviewers get confused with the actual results.
