StorageVille – Reenders

We reached out to StorageVille to book a storage locker and they were completely booked up. That did not stop them from giving me valuable advice and recommendations on finding alternate locker units in the city and gave me the option to call back in a few days to check availability. I would definitely use their services in the future based off this interaction alone. They use a live answering service as well so you are not left on hold for a long time. Excellent first impressions!!

They don't explain the terms of the rental truck properly. Got charged $50 in refuel charges for driving 19kms. Very shady. Stick to uhaul instead.

Unfortunately, the lowest rating is one. Otherwise, I would give minus 100 to this horrible storage compound. I had my camper stored at StorageVille (123 Reenders Dr) all summer long. On October 21, 2021, I took my camper to be winterized at Transcona Trailer (which has incredible customer service by the way). The next day (October 22, 2021) I took my camper from Transcona Trailer back to StorageVille. On November 2, 2021, I got a phone call from a police officer asking me a bunch of questions about my camper. After answering all the questions from the police officer, she said that my camper had been stolen, and it was found at a crime scene. The next day I headed to StorageVille office to talk to the manager. I was really upset with all the situation that I was going through. I started talking to the manager, and that guy was extremely rude to me. He even implied that I had stolen my own camper! Anyway... since then, I had to deal with MPI with all the paperwork, and right now I have my camper at Transcona Trailer where they have ordered new parts to fix my camper - and they will give free storage until May 2022. I extremely do not recommend StorageVille Reenders compound for its low security system, and really horrible customer service.

I tried to call locally to get a quote. The first time the call disconnected (nobody's fault), the second time I asked if they had drive-up lockers available, I got cold-transferred to an answering service who said they didn't have that information. I called back a third time and was redirected again. Apparently they want to avoid talking to people so badly that they'd rather not pick up new customers. I won't bother trying a fifth time to give them my business.

Shayna was very helpful and explains the ins and outs very clearly.Update after a year: There was a day when I had to cancel my unit, I called the office and a guy answered. I have just requested that I wanted to cancel my unit, he immediately said it has to be in written. The way he said it over the phone, he sounds arrogant or sounds like he doesn't want to be bothered. I understand there are these days that we are stressed out or something but it's not a good reason to be impolite to any other customers.

These people are thieves. I paid until a agreed date and they came into my locker before the date and took all my things worth $1000 plus all my sentimental possessions. CROOKS. And now they replied to my review with complete and utter lies. Once again CROOKS.

I had the pleasure of touring the Reenders facility. I have to say they were very nice folks, explained everything very clearly, and the facilities were clean. The layout is easy to access while being very secure. Liked the wide hallways in the storage facilities.Again, great people! Wonderful company.

Service sucks. Rates increase rapidly from 120.00 something to 170.00 something within 2 years. Definitely look around. I am big on customer service and if I am going to pay that amount I expect diamond service.

We had our camper broken into 2 times. The first time we notified the office they said others had been broken into as well. It happened again a second time and when we notified the office they didn't seem at all concerned. I thought perhaps I'm sorry this happened again" but just an "Oh

These people are very friendly and the facility is top level secure and somewhat affordable.They will help you through the process of deciding how large of a container you will require. They will present all the options they have to offer without any pressure. They'll walk you through the security measures they strictly follow in order to ensure that your belongings will be safeguarded 24/7 which is a stress free feeling of relief.The enclosed premises is closely monitored by what seem to be high quality security cameras.They offer a moving van which is quite large that features an aluminum ramp to more easily roll your heavy belongings into the large enclosed box.They supply you with a high quality lock and keys and will walk you through the process of entering the guarded area, leaving the area, entering and unlocking your container, and the simple process of disarming and arming your container via the security system integrated into each container.Very pleased with StorageVille so far.
