My company recently used Platinum Roofing to do flat roofing on a commercial property. We are pleased with the workmanship and prompt completion along with the fair pricing for their work. The owner Mark is a stand-up guy, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. I can vouch for Platinum Roofing.

I have worked with Mark and Platinum Roofing for over 7 yrs now on a few commercial buildings.From 30 + yrs experience in managing properties, I prefer an SBS or torch down roof as its seems to last the longest in Albertas crazy weather. Platinum roofing is very professional and knowledgeable about all commercial roof applications. I highly recommend this company and look forward to working with them again soon.

Platinum Roofing replaced our old tar and gravel flat roof with new SBS roof above our office last year .We are very pleased with the workmanship and speed of install. Its March in Calgary and now our warehouse has spung many leaks .I called Mark and received an estimate for a repair and a replace to match office flat roof. I had the extreme pleasure of having Platinum roofing come in on short notice for a TPO install on a Tim Hortons restaurant. the other contractor we had was not professional at all. the roof on my man cave has finally failed. Platinum Roofing repaired it for me a few years ago, did a great job but the other parts are starting to fail and it's time to replace the whole thing. I called and was re quoted a price in 2 days.I will be moving ahead with a complete replacement with TPO membrane from Platinum Roofing. Now hoping wether remains good so that they can schedule me in. Thanks, Platinum.

Mark and his team at Platinum Roofing.ca Ltd. were professional and paid attention to all the details. They installed a TPO membrane over an existing metal roof system and I'm confident its going to perform great. Straight forward and do what they say they are going to do. Well done.

I was requested by the business to remove this review. 5* for service up to 2021, but the latest encounter with us having contacted them in January and no one having ever verified (visited our house and inspected) the problem is attic rain and not something else is why the review is not 5*. We were told to have our roof redesigned and rebuilt (easier said than done) and I imagine any future requests to have them look at any issue will be responded to by the fact that our roof is flawed and they “did not design and build our house”. We will no longer engage with this business, here or by any other method, and will seek help elsewhere. You can review our prior positive encounters with this business below. It is only fair I leave them here.Another update 2022-04: Unfortunately, did not have a good encounter with Platinum Roofing on the phone - we wanted someone to come out to take a look back in January when we saw water in the house from the roof to see what the source of the water may be, and we were told because our roof design is flawed, it’s attic rain and not their fault. Was told repeatedly this on the phone without anyone coming out to check it out. All I wanted was someone out to take a look, instead, I was lectured on why our roof is the issue. Sure, if it is, that’s fine. But couldn’t someone have just come out? Roof has been fine since the big melt after the winter, and I now see that they were right to assume it was attic rain, but if it was an actual leak we might’ve been stuck with the leak or had to call someone else. In future we will consider another company. Five stars for prior encounters but this experience has disappointed me.Update 2021-03-10: Adding to our initial review from ~5 years ago. We have been living in the house we purchased back in 2016 with a brand new roof by Platinum Roofing. After the cold snap in Feb 2021, a Chinook brought much warmer weather and melted the snow off the roof. Water started leaking into our bedroom through the potlights, and we contacted Platinum Roofing. Mark sent a technician out the next day, and patched what may have been a gap or crack where the scupper was. This was the first year it has happened after many other winters without issue in this house, so I think it's something that happened over time (in doing some research it seems like gas bubble from the torched SBS is not uncommon). Under warranty, so no charge. Really appreciate the quick service. Since patching we haven't seen any signs of new water.Original Review from 2016:We contact Platinum Roofing to look at the flat roof of a house we were under contract for, following a home inspection that showed possible leak. I initially left a voicemail on the main phone line but did not receive a call back. I submitted a request online a couple of days later and Mike was out to look at the roof right away. We received a detailed roof report with photos, and a quote for the replacement. They had one of the best quotes we received. Long story short, our sellers pitched in to completely replace the roof before our possession date. I can't rate the installation process (since our sellers were still living there) but my personal dealings with Platinum Roofing were fairly positive. My only issue is that I did have to ask the main office a couple of times to confirm warranty transfer and to see photos of the completed job as promised, otherwise I was happy with what I saw in the photos and hope our roof will last a long time!

This spring I had three commercial roofs that needed replacement. Received many quotes from other roofing companies. And decided to go ahead with Platinum Roofings services.From start to finish, I found Platinum roofing to be professional, timely, clean and respectful to my tenants. I want to start by saying that the entire experience with Platinum Roofing was easy and stress free.Earlier this spring, our family-owned apartment building's roof started to leak. I did my homework and called a few companies to provide quotes.  Platinum's price was second lowest, but when I called the lowest guy he started talking about all the extras he'd have to add in. He seemed a bit flaky so I spoke to Mark at Platinum Roofing. He explained that (with the exception any rotting wood deck that might be found) his price included all the extras the other guy was trying to add in.  The other prices I got were way high so I decided to go with Platinum.The job went very smoothly. Luckily there was no rotten deck, so extra dollars. I spoke with all the commercial tenants we have on the ground floor and a couple of residents that live in the building.  All had good things to say about Platinum or they didn't even notice that Platinum was  there. Good job guys! Would definitely use again.
