If I could give them zero stars they would get -5. TERRIBLE CONTRACTORS. And the subcontractors they hire match their way of working... s#%t. We had a flood at my townhouse condo, and they were hired by the condo. They took forever to finish the work, I wouldn’t mind that if they were perfectionist, but it looks like blind people did the work! Their painters need to go back to preschool to learn how to stay within the line! And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. They destroyed my wood bannister, drop paint all over it!My suggestion: STAY AWAY FROM SOLID GENERAL CONTRACTOR

Terrible Contractors, Stay Away put out false Statutory Declarations claiming all contractors paid on jobs. They have failed to pay us after 120 days. So if you want to do business and not get paid use them

Solid general contractors were hired for some condo repairs for us. Extremely happy with the job they did. Fast response time and very professional. Job was done quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend them. They came during covid and had all the essential safety gear. They made us feel very safe during the emergency restoration.

Company was selected to rebuild our home by the insurance company after a fire. Very slow to reply. The gentleman in charge was never completely honest. They used cheaper material without letting us know and gave excuses when questioned. We had to take the insurance company to court because of all the short cuts and poor work. House was left a mess after the job was completed.

Agreed with a previous reviewer about dangerous driving. One of their vans was speeding excessively and cutting drivers left and right on Major Mac. If you're late, you're late. Driving dangerously is not an excuse and you have your logo and name clearly on the side of your trucks. Insurance companies might be hiring you now but once they learn of your dangerous driving, they won't be. Smarten up.

Solid General contracting has very poor customer service. Unfortunately our condo insurance company selected them to do repairs. They are slow to respond to question and work at a very slow pace. If it was up to me I would not select them to work for me.

My contractor took the copper pipes and electrical component from my house.I called the phone number listed and the sweet person just asked was it furniture?".SO they will get back to me on Monday... probably?Super cool. I hate my life right now."
