Food was pricy and sub-par but didn't take long to come,but then the waitress asked how I'd like to tip before I got the bill,is this normal?

I found the staff to be friendly and the early bird breakfast/brunch special was good value, filling, and equal or better quality as any offered by Denny's or Humpty's.

Waste of money ! Mall locationThey don't know what good food and good service is.Their burger quality was so low, our children did not finish their burgers due to its taste!Their burgers did not contain any lettuce, the servant said if you want lettuce, you can't have bread bun with the burger! :(Alfredo Fetuchini was so bad!I don't recommend it to anyone.The only star they got was because of Fish and Chips that was good.

The food is good and service is great too. Ambience is also nice. My experience with Smitty’s was super good despite the fact that the place was almost full.

Service was decent brandi was a great server, I’m very disappointed with the laziness of the cooks. I ordered the Ukraine’s skillet but never got a skillet only a plate with the food I ordered the big country breakfast that came with shredded hash browns that were raw in the middle. Other than that decent place for a meal

Great food but the waitress we had was beyond useless.She asked if we needed more coffee we said yes after 10 minutes she walks by I lift my cup to get her attention she says she'll be right back, another 10 minutes go by and still nothing.Finally the girl Cleaning tables got us some.Unfortunately I wasn't able to tip the girl who brought us coffee so I didn't give a tip.I almost always tip but not when the service is pathetic at best

Once again another really delicious visit, I always stop in here when I'm passing through Moose Jaw. The waitress Sydney was very friendly, helpful and attentive. So you guys should really try this place out!

Smitty's Family Restaurant and Lounge
Came in for breakfast while we were visiting. So good we had to come back! Brandi was a lovely server, the food was so quick, drinks were delicious! We plan on returning to moosejaw in the summer, and we’ll likely be in again! (Breakfast for both of us including tip was BOTH TIMES less than $60. Incredible!)

Breakfast at Smitty was so delicious. The omelette, pancakes, French toast and hash brown were yummy and the service was good. Washroom was also clean

I ordered the Ukrainian style breakfast and my wife ordered the Philly cheese steak dip. Very tasty kudos to the chef.
