The ladies at the cash are friendly and nice. The men however at the custoner service desk are the rudest people ive ever dealt with. After going here 4 times now I will be driving to Elora from now on.

Drive to Rona in Elora! Or even to Home Depot in Guelph! It's worth the drive to avoid Dixon's.I've lived in town a long time and won't give this location any more business. The two cashiers are very friendly, but no one else is helpful or friendly. The selection isn't great and it's overpriced. But it's the lousy customer service that's turned me off for good.One specific female employee is consistently rude to customers. Unbelievably so. I heard her tell off a costumer the other day. Her manager was present and did nothing to correct her or to make apologies to the customer. It really does seem you're an inconvenience to the employees for wanting to buy something!Can't wait for Fergus to grow a bit more and get a Home Depot... Dixon's stays in business because there aren't many other options. They won't last long once there's competition.

Buy your lumber elsewhere...according to Kevin and staff is perfectly ok for premium 2×4s to be warped and twisted....big beer belly tuff guy attitude doesn't work anymore its very transparent and shows ....terrible customer service....real shame...I estimate you lost your company approx 26k in the next 6 weeks of my purchases as well as any further purchases....Rona isn't far away and is actually cheaper on lumber and drywall.....great job....oh and to boot your staff hates on city folk.....nice

Excellent experience. Friendly & helpful staff, the drive through lumber yard was the best I've seen, impressive! Really great experience. Home Hardware overall impresses me as a corporation & I've been to a bunch of different locations & have had similar experiences at all that I can remember. Really happy to see a Canadian Company do so well overall in culture, service, product & price (even if COVID made things go crazy)

Absolutely the worst hardware store in Wellington country not even centre Wellington, horrible customer service because they employee their family instead of actual experts and look at their hours, do they not realize home owners work real jobs and can't get to their store before 6 because they are working ?

Was just shopping there husband is deaf so to catch his attention i called out his name a couple times employee working in wood section was very rude mimicked me guess he thought it was a joke never shopping in there again i was left to wonder exactly how old he was not a good look for customer consideration thats for sure. I did tell him i think i hear a parrot to that he whistled.
