Enhanced Care Medical Clinic - Thornhill Walk-In Family Doctor Clinic

Walked in on a holiday and clinic was thankfully open. Was able to see a doctor faster than I expected, which was great. Doctor had great bedside manners and was thorough. All the staff was polite. Had a great experience and will be coming back for walk-ins!

They are supposed to be working till 3 pm on Sundays. I showed up with my very sick daughter at 2 pm and they told us , they are already closed for the day. Driving there based on in accurate working hours almost cost me to miss getting to another clinic. I am glad the other clinic , were punctual and took us as the last patient.

I’ve been going to this doctors office for a couple years now despite hearing about how unprofessional it is and I was really rooting for it but this is the last straw. I saw a walk in doctor this morning and got a blood test requisitioned. I was given no instructions after the visit. I was just told I needed a blood test. Having gotten blood tests requisitioned before, I knew I had to get the requisition form so I asked for one from front desk. Had I not known this I would have just gone home from the lack of instruction. Front desk was disorganized and had to figure out the forms I needed printed. Once I got my forms they again told me nothing and I went to the blood lab to get my blood drawn. It was here that I was told that I needed to fast for 12 hours. I called the doctors office to confirm this because it was the first time I had heard this. Then the receptionist proceeded to gas light me saying that she had told me and even pointed out on the form that I needed to fast for 12 hours. I think I would have remembered that if I were told. I can handle the lack of professionalism. What I cannot tolerate is the lying and gas lighting. The way this office is run is embarrassing and unacceptable.

There is no wait time!The place is super clean and the girls at the front desk are kind with my girl and sweet.I've been there the first time and every doctor I've spoken to has helped me substantially. I am super pleased with the clinic . Very professional and knowledgeable.

This clinic has been good to me for the past 5 years. The doctors here have helped me with past cases of strep throat, eye infection, body checkups, bloodwork, etc. The front desk definitely have room for improvement but we also don’t understand the pressure they encounter everyday! Being super professional vs get my sh*t taken care of I would go with get my stuff taken care of any day!

I took my 86 yr old mother walking with a cane to this place, what a big mistake! Her feet were swollen and in pain, the heartless Dr. Vinokur refused to see her because she wants to go home! No compassion! I begged her to see my mother for few minutes, she said NO, go to the hospital. Went to another clinic and the doctor diagnosed her with Gout, gave her meds and was sent home. All that, took 7 minutes! Don't come to this place, there are other offices who still care about people, let alone an elderly! This doctor has a black soul!

I had to go to this clinic twice in a week as a walk-in. First time I didn’t have a good experience because the secretary told me the wait time is 1 hour and that there are 4 patients before me. After waiting for 1 hour I checked with her and there was still 4 patients ahead of me. Eventually took me double the time she originally mentioned to see the doctor. Second visit was a better experience, she told me from the beginning that the wait time is long and about 3 hours. Knowing that, I could make arrangements to run some errands during the wait time and come back.

Never again!I came in yesterday around 11am with my toddler who was extremely ill and vomiting. I asked about the wait time and was told there were 4 patients before me. TWO HOURS LATER, I asked again and they told me there are 3 patients before me! Is it logic that 1 patient can spend 2 hours?! is it logic to wait with a sick toddler for 3 hours who is obviously very sick and tired and didn’t eat or drink, with no comfortable chairs, no small toys or colouring books and very dusty floors…Almost all the bad reviews here are furious about the long waiting time, how come you’re not doing anything to fix this issue?! Hire more doctors, find a quicker way to document the patient’s situation…we spent most of the time inside before getting checked up just describing the situation and waiting for the doctor to type it..I know it’s her job but she can, for example, record by voice and then type it in the computer later on…I don’t know ,figure something out to make life easier for you and us…

Dr. Yu is an amazing doctor, but I sure wish that the people who work at the front desk can have the same professionalism, easy to approach attitude, and good common sense.1) the phone is constantly occupied, with the voice mails being heavily backlogged. I understand that there are only a set amount of people working at the front desk, but two days without a reply to a simple question of mine in the voicemail (asking about their walk in hours) seemed very unacceptable.2) My girlfriend went to see Dr. Yu for a walk in appointment because her rhinitis has been acting up for more than 3 weeks now, and over the counter medication didn’t seem to help. Instead of assisting her with the appointment right away, the front desk people asked her to do a self Covid test on the spot, claiming that congestion could be a symptom of Covid. I understand that perspective, but Covid does not last longer than 3 weeks as I’ve tested positive for it myself back in August. Not to mention that it is allergy season right now as Spring is approaching. And to charge her money for the Covid test while places like Shoppers give them out for free? Unbelievable.So yeah. Definitely think twice about coming here for any checkups. The doctors are for sure great people with amazing skill sets, but the people at the front desk don’t seem to harness any of that, not even simple common sense.

I would give this a 10 stars if I could. I always have a great experienced in this clinic, they provide good advice and care for their clients I never had like one problem in this clinic. Plus, you do not have to wait long unlike any other clinics and the Doctors, receptionist & pharmacist are really nice!<33
