On Wednesday September 7th my daughter and myself visited the soft moc location in devonshire mall. I work in the mall and we have shoped at this location many times. Upon our arrival we went up to the cashier and asked if they had a sizing chart. The woman handed the sizing metal foot to us with no offer of help. I helped my daughter choose the appropriate size. I then asked if they had a specific shoe in her size. The woman said you can look over there and pointed to a shelf with similar shoes. I had to specifically ask for her to go and check in the back to see if she had the shoe in stock. While we were waiting I found I cute pair of sandels that I decided to purchase. The tag said $29.99. The box with a barcode also said 29.99. My daughter got her vans and I bought the soft moc sandles. As we were leaving the store I checked the receipt. I was charged $39.99 for the sandles. I then went back to the cashier and told her that I was over charged $10. She said sorry they came up as $39.99. I then said I see that but the tag was priced $29.99 and that is what I should have to pay as per the code of conduct.She then got her manager and the manager said they would have to call the district manager to get a code to over ride the sale price. The district manager wads called and told the manager that they wouldn't allow to price change because the sandles were already on sale. I was shocked that a district manager of all people wouldn't make a custom happy especially considering it was an error on the staffs part. We received a refund for the sandles then left. After walking around the mall for about 10 minutes it was still really bothering me. I told my daughter that we would return the shoes and purchase them from somewhere else. The fact that they couldn't right thier own wrong did not sit well with me at all! So we returned the vans and purchased them from journeys instead. They also took the time to size her foot accordingly. they lost $120 sale because they wouldn't give the $10 off that they 100% should have. Bad business and shame on them.

Returned a pair of unworn Mephisto sandals and they went over them with a fine tooth comb. Not one person but Anna the so called manager as well. She is very immature and lacks manager skills! She was talking to other staff members about me even before I left the service desk! Will not buy from them again!

This week I ordered shoes from soft Moc. There was an option to order to the store which I figured was perfect because I had to run to the mall anyways this week. When I got to the store and asked for my shoes they store employee was so mean to me. Telling me to never use the store as my address. (Which I never did- I just clicked the option to ship to store) I was completely embarrassed the way she raised her voice and stormed away from me. She slammed the shoes on the counter. I hate writing bad reviews but the way I was treated was absolutely disgusting.

The staff are I’ll trained and lack customer service. Their manager or assistant manger (women), was no better.The sales person literally couldn’t be bothered. We had to cause her down after she gave us one size then took off. She also don’t know how to size the shoes for my wife.I asked for another pair to try and they couldn’t be bothered to look.Although the product was good the service at the Devonshire Mall in Windsor was the worst. The gentleman that cashed us out was the only one that delivered optimal service.After spending hundreds of dollars at that store I wouldn’t go back!

I would not recommend SoftMoc for any shopping you may have to do for family and friends this holiday season. I would hate for anyone to make the same mistake as I did and be stuck in the hole for shoes that did not fit. If you plan on buying someone a present you should make sure to bring them with you and have them try the shoes on in the store. If you try to buy shoes as a surprise gift, like I did, and so much as a wrinkle is left after trying them on and walking around the house to see how they fit, you will not be able to return them. You will be stuck with a bill and product you cannot use, and do not even bother approaching the staff. They do not have time for you, and will only give you attitude if you try to reason with them.
