James is a wizard. I've seen him thrice in 1.5 years and he has restored the curvature in my spine, eliminated my chronic back pain, and helped me understand how to contact my core properly. I am truly amazed at how much has been accomplished in so few sessions. Skip the ostopath, physio, and chiro, just go see James!

Having difficulties recovering from an emergency eye surgery that was causing headaches, blurred vision, and depth perception issues I sought help from James. Being disappointed by previous interactions with other health professionals I was surprised how different James’ approach was. He was not just looking at the injury but considering the effects on the entire body and the consequences of the eye trauma. He recognized the imbalances created and devised a plan to help correct that and retrain my eye. James is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He has a relaxed and professional tone which made me feel very comfortable and easy to talk to. Within the following days there was a vast improvement in depth perception, peripheral vision, eye strain, and my headaches subsided, which I was so grateful for. I was also surprised with the detailed email sent to me after the appointment with all the information gathered from the session and a practical ongoing treatment plan to help me continue with the healing process. I highly recommend James for anyone wanting or needing to improve their physical being. He’s really good at what he does!

I went to see James to try and get some movement corrections done, as I have been getting recurring injuries. After the first session there was a noticeable difference in the way I was moving and muscles that were firing before were now engaged and movements were a lot easier due to all the proper muscles working. James does great work and will take the time to explain things to you and give you some exercises to do at home so you can increase your mobility. I’ve been lifting heavy for years and went to all sorts of different treatments but this seems to work better for actually relieving pain and restoring movement.

James McGrath is an outstanding personal coach!! His knowledge and skills relevant to the body and how it works are excellent. He personalizes my workouts based on my goals, needs and abilities and clearly explains the rationale behind the various planned exercises and movements. James is very supportive and patient during my fitness workouts. Whenever I have suffered injuries or experienced pain in my day to day life, he has taken time to help me resolve these effectively and in a timely manner. James has been my personal coach for approximately 2 years. In that time I have lost 30 pounds, over 20 inches and 10% of my body fat! I am fit and feel/look younger than my 64 years. I highly recommend James McGrath as a personal coach to anyone who is looking to transform his/her life in a positive way both physically and mentally. Joanne

I can't speak directly for James' personal training, but I visit him for his NKT knowledge. Since I started seeing him, he has expertly diagnosed the root of my chronic pain, and shown me exercises to fix it. After walking out of his office, I always feel a significant decrease in pain and an increase in mobility. He's helped me more in four visits than chiropractors and massage therapists have helped in three years.James is magic.

James is an amazing therapist and super personable! I didn’t have much experience in the realm of physical therapy but his NKT approach was very informative and super in depth, I had wicked pain in my biceps and between my shoulders and it was pretty well fixed after one session. James explained what was going on and what was causing the pain, then he showed me how I can help to fix it at home. I highly recommend his services!

I had the pleasure of training under James for over a year.He is different from other trainers since his style is more functional and he focuses on strengthening the body with relation to daily movements or sports related activities.James has a thorough knowledge of biomechanics and creates an easy to understand and follow workout routine for his clients.I would strongly recommend James as a trainer for anyone...... after all he made me, a 46 year old man, capable of competing in sports in a league filled with 20-30 year olds.

I started working with James four months ago after surgery on my hip. From the start, I’ve been very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. I have been very happy with the various approaches he uses. Although my hip is quite compromised, James has worked with me and encourages me to do what I am capable and he adapts exercises for me when my hip just won’t have it!!I would highly recommend James. Ok so James is a wizard! At 42 I could hardly bend over and lift the lid of the toilet for the fist few hours of my day. I had been to a chiropractor many times to be adjusted and always end up back to where I started. In the first 4 sessions with James I could bend down and put my finger tips on the ground (I have never in my life been able to do that. Like ever)James has a knowledge and approach to healing and fixing tissues imbalances that I have never before run into.Once we had my back fixed we worked on strengthening my old body. I love his approach to this!!! It’s not just dead lifts, bench and squats! James has a way more functional approach to building strength!Go see him and you will not be disappointed!
