Pretty weird pricing for a barber, there is a price for a men hairs cut but depending on how short you want it to be, it’s more expensive?! Does not make sense to me. Also asked for skin hair cut at the sides and he did a more or less alright job, but neither as short as I wanted it to be nor really good structured, but then of course a higher price for this type of hair cut. Ridiculous, maybe should look for another „profession“

Been going to him for years and it's always great service. The haircuts are fast and well done. The price is much better than anything in town for better service. This is not a hair salon to get updos for your bridesmaids, this is a place for a fast good solid haircut with no frills.

Can't believe anyone would leave a 1-star review! Pricing seems quite simple - fixed rate (a great rate for Canmore) for a haircut. Price doesn't change based on how much hair he cuts. However, don't go here if you want a hair salon - it is a barbershop. Don't expect a bathrobe and slippers and lots of fussing about with hair products. And anyone who says he isn't friendly and considerate to his customers, regardless of whether you are a local or a tourist (like me), must be disingenuous or lying about having gone there.

Rude, incompetent, and confrontational. I simply showed him a picture of the haircut, immediately got defensive saying it was too short. It was imply an image of short haircut style, aggressive shaved my head with #1. On top of that, was on the phone. Cash only, $29 , does not use scissors.

I went in on June 7 as a walk in customer. I believe it is run by one guy as he was answering phones and stuff during the cuts, which is fine of course. I didn't get the guy's name, but he was a really nice guy, we chatted about a lot of different things. He did a fantastic job with my hair cut and beard trim. I can't recommend Canmore Barbershop enough! The price is very reasonable for a tourist destinations like Canmore. I Think I was lucky getting a walk in appointment though, as his phone was ringing off the hook and several other people also walked up to make appointment. May be best to make an appointment to avoid disappointment!

Don't know why someone gave this place one star! I really needed a men's cut and was looking for any place in Canmore and came here.Was a really nice relaxed atmosphere Barber was a super cool guy! He was quick and the price was very reasonable. I really like my haircut!
