AHM Designers Ltd. - Manufacturer of Bathroom Vanity, Kitchen, and More

Dealing with AHM Designers made our ensuite bathroom renovation a prolonged nightmare! Our reno started at the beginning of January 2022 and was projected to last three weeks maximum. Our renovation contractor recommended AHM Designers for our vanities, linen tower and mirrors for our ensuite and adjoining bedroom area. All proceeded as scheduled and to our satisfaction until the AHM vanities, linen tower and mirrors arrived. The original pieces had MULTIPLE issues including defective paint work, chips in the finish, a scratch on one of the mirrors, misaligned/crooked vanity frame and missing pieces (vanity skirt, linen tower moulding and spacers). Our contractor returned the defective pieces at the beginning of February 2022. We were given a two week period for the new pieces. SIX WEEKS later, the second set of parts were delivered and most with similar imperfection issues such as the defective paint work. Again, we were told that AHM was committed to correcting this as soon as possible. One of the AHM representatives who came to the house promised to personally oversee the work. This did not happen. No one from AHM Designers initiated contact with us after the second installation in March 2022. We sent NUMEROUS EMAILS and made NUMEROUS CALLS to both our contractor and AHM Designers directly. After persistent calling on our part to AHM Designers the defective pieces were finally replaced at the end of June 2022. Our vanities, linen tower and mirrors are now installed. They are good enough but only because of our persistent insistence that the issues be corrected. There are still three drawer fronts with defective paint because these were never replaced even though they were supposed to be. Also, when the skirt on the ensuite vanity was installed, the installers forgot to remove a white supporting wood piece which was visible as the vanities are charcoal coloured. When the installers tried to remove the white piece, they damaged the skirt! WE DO NOT RECOMMEND AHM Designers! In our experience, their workmanship does not reflect their statements in their brochures about quality and excellence. We did not experience that they cared about customer service and satisfaction with us. Our numerous calls were “heard” and, at the end, some attempt was made to correct the situation. I emailed the CEO directly but did not get a response. When we purchased our AHM Designers pieces, we were purchasing Canadian quality and excellence. As an analogy, we were purchasing a new car not a used car. We are not unreasonable to expect that the product be free of scratches, dents, imperfect paint and misaligned parts. It appears from other reviews that our experience has been shared by others. I hope that the company examines its practices and strives to practice what they preach.

I wish I could give them zero stars. These people have been the worst to deal with during my home renovation. They are very unresponsive, required multiple follow-ups to get the job done, and cabinet installation was done in three weeks when it could’ve been a one day job. They provided very unprofessional work and damaged cabinets even though they were custom ordered. Don’t waste your money and time by choosing AHM.

I was referred from a friend and my experience was great. My installer name I think it was Srikanthan. He was fast and accommodated me as I requested. I was really happy with my granite cabinets. Finishing touch to my new home kitchen!

We definitely DO NOT recommend AHM. Stay away from this company.Their products are over priced and the quality is very poor.The quality of paint on their cabinets is very poor. Uneven coverage with lots of Orange Peel.They do NOT stand behind their products, They just throw their retailers under the bus because they don't want to address any warranty issues.Also their production times are ridiculously slow. Be prepared to want for months and months .Terrible Company.

We ordered a custom vanity for our bathroom remodel and I regret dealing with this company. There is an extreme lack in quality control and we were sent not one but 3 cabinet doors or drawers with improperly sized drilled holes. It’s been 3 months since we sent them back to the company to have them redone and we are still waiting. Do not waste your time like we have.

Terrible after purchase service. We purchased two custom bathroom vanities from them. The backsplash quartz counter arrived chipped and was unevenly cut; and the feet of the vanity were not painted. In addition to having a Q&A issue, AHM also took 3 months to ship touch up paint for the feet. We had to follow up weekly for 3 months, most often to no response and when they did respond, it was to say it was shipped... only to learn it was never shipped.

Purchased an AHM 96 inch vanity set including make up table in October of 2020. Paid over $4,400. Decided to go with AHM because we were told they were 100% Canadian. Vanity arrived in January and, due to Covid, was installed in March of 2021. Sadly, once installed we discovered the vanity was poorly constructed and poorly painted. Brought this situation to the attention of AHM and was told they would send a replacement vanity (originally tried for physical and/or financial help with removal of old and reinstall of new including plumbing hook up but that was not going to happen). That was 7 months ago. We're still waiting. I call on a regular basis asking for a status update. Each time I get a heartfelt apology and promise that something will happen. Nothing!!! Now, the AHM person who promised on Thursday the delivery of new vanity yesterday is on vacation for 2 weeks and no one else seems to know what's going on. Very disappointed customers who only wanted a decent vanity made by Canadians in Canada.

We were dealing with Sam, wonderfull person with very good knowledge about kitchen and vanity cabinets.First we ordered vanity cabinets and were very happy with the results.Therefore, we diceded to order kitchen cabinets.Sam worked with us to get the best possible kitchen at the best price. He is very nice, patient and professional.Sam was easy to reach, always responded to our calls/text messages and made himself available for us. He always tried his best to make us happy. We will definitely come back to A.H.M designers for our future projects. Also, we will recommend A.H.M designers to all our friends and relatives.
