Sleeping Giant Guesthouse
We stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting Thunder Bay. Gail was extremely accommodating when we arrived in the night to check in. We spent quite a bit of time relaxing at the hostel as we had just returned from many nights backcountry camping and couldn't have asked for better company! We shared many laughs with Gail and other house guests. Our experience here was so, so pleasant and would highly recommend the sleeping giant guest house to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay! Thank you, Gail!

Sleeping Giant Guesthouse
We stayed here while driving through Thunder Bay on a road trip. Gail waited late for us to let us in. The beds were clean and comfortable and certainly affordable. The bathroom and common areas were clean and there was coffee in the morning. There were also fans in the room which was appreciated in the middle of July.

This is amazing place to be. I am glad that this was my first place to stay upon my first arrival in Canada. Gail is very sweet and welcoming. Everyone in the house were very friendly and humble. I came to Thunder Bay alone and now have a wonderful family in Sleeping Giant Guest House!

Sleeping Giant Guesthouse
Stayed for one night to stay close to downtown Thunder Bay. The owner was very nice, and made sure to accommodate our group in terms of numbers and space. There was a single bathroom which was great, and the rooms were clean and spacious for a hostel. My only complaint would be there was a lack of secure spaces to keep valuables.

Sleeping Giant Guesthouse
Me and my friend Chris stayed there for 2 night. When we got there it was pretty late but Gale was awake and let us in we paid for our rooms and went to bed. When we woke up she was so nice and made us pancakes which was a real treat. The place was clean and cozy. When I go to Thunder bay I know where I'll be staying and recommend it to anyone.

Lovely hostel matched equally by a lovely owner. Very spacious and clean rooms and facilities, whilst also having a nice charm and character about the place. Gail is an amazing owner and I cannot recommend this place enough.

Good people! Good vibes! Good place!The owner, Gail, is wonderful and very welcoming. She's always there to help you. She's making you fresh coffee in the morning. It really feels like being home. Her guesthouse is very clean and well maintained. There's a BBQ outside on the patio, a fire pit in the backyard, a decent size commune living room with tons of books and the WIFI is pretty legit.Bottom line, I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Thunder bay or driving through!

Sleeping Giant Guesthouse
My friend and I were driving through Thunder Bay and were able to get a last minute room. We got there rather late but Gail had waited up for us and went over everything needed for our stay.The price for the night was very fair given that we had a private room and all the services provided - including wifi. The house has much more space than you would expect looking at it from the outside.Security measures are present all over the house, so not to worry too much there.In the morning coffee/tea is provided along with pancakes. Gail was such a lovely lady, we would definitely stay here again.10/10 - would recommend.

Had an amazing time. Gail the host is very sweet and just fun to be around. The people coming thru and staying were all amazing. Very comfortable rooms at a super reasonable price.Will definitely be stopping here if I'm ever in Thunder Bay again. Highly recommended*****
