Belmont Collision

I've been going to Belmont for years for my maintenance and repairs, for both body and mechanical. One the the big reasons I keep coming back is Kevin A., his commitment to doing good work is top notch. The whole team is great too. They may cost a little bit more than other cheaper places, but I find there less chance of me having to take my car back later. They work hard to resolve your problems the first time.

Always outstanding service from Dave and his amazing Team. Very honest & trustworthy, very friendly and kind, and not pushy like other shops I won’t mention. Communicates very well regarding my auto-body work, and all repairs. I’ve had all our vehicles repaired here including Lincoln Navs, Mustangs , and all my Porsche body work. Sadly had an A/c problem in my honda. Just about anytime an auto A/c needs work it turns out to be pricey so I was prepared for a big bill. The techs at Belmont started their system inspection and found a faulty solenoid within the first few minutes. I'm jaded enough to figure that most shops would have at least tacked on a one or two hundred dollar package diagnosis fee (which would be fair) but Belmont got the $50 part and charged a tiny labour fee to get things going again. I was out for a very reasonable cost and extremely quickly. So much opportunity for extra fees or additional system work that isn't really necessary and they didn't attempt to add any of that. Would I say they are trustworthy and fairly priced? OH YES! In fact I have brought other vehicles to them for work and they keep proving themselves again and again. It's so hard to know if you are getting the straight goods from car repair businesses that aee new to you, but I'm 100% confident in saying Belmont Collision/Mechanical is honest, fair and very good at what they do.

I had bad experience. I went for oil change and power steering metal hose leak. The leak is fixed but they didn't top up the resvour. They also cut off a metal that was holding the metal resvour hose and left the hose moving. When i asked Dan , he said he cut the metal in order to put clips.Then, I found out they didn't tighten up the wheel lug nuts. There were only two lug nuts holding the tire.I went back and told them the story but they were too defensive and didn't believe me. they said they didn't touch my tire at all.

Kevin replaced my windshield today and was great at keeping me updated on the progress. They washed my car and even cleaned up the front floors for me. Kevin also installed the power cord for my dash cam so it would be tucked away neatly and safely. I’ve used Belmont in the past for mechanical work and they have consistently impressed me with the quality of work, fair prices and friendly staff.

I called in for an icbc estimate appointment and I was told they are not taking in non-drivable vehicles, which I insisted to the phone lady that it was, which then she asked me to send pics of the vehicle and instantly responded that it was not drivable.In any case my speculation is that they dont want to look at vehicles that are most likely a write off because it is not worth their time ( as it will not need a repair) or maybe they are understaffed?They did not want my business.

Hassle free ICBC claim service for the best. My car came home in perfect condition inside and outside! Impressive! Thank you!
