Tasty tacos and margaritas!Visited on a Taco Tuesday. The place was super busy, but we did not have to wait long for a spot on the patio.Service was slow, but when the food and drinks arrived, they were good! The margaritas seemed over priced, but went down well on a hot evening.

What an amazing experience. The food was outstanding. Avocado Frito was out favorite but everything was exceptional. Our server was incredible and even ran down a block to give us the salsa we bought and left. I highly recommend

Always great food! Delicious and interesting tacos and more. Only downside is $12 bucks for chips and Salsa is a bit ridiculous. Get the fried avocado instead.

To celebrate Family Day today we chose La Cantina. We arrived before noon and we were seated immediately, orders taken, applies arrived promptly. The server was friendly and efficient.We chose tacos, soup, burritos and Virgen margaritas- Big flavours and very filling. II appreciated the music wasn’t too loud for us to talk comfortably.I highly recommend this restaurant and we will be returning before the summer slam of tourists.¡Muchísimas gracias!

Decent Mexican food but some of the meat was dry especially when it shouldn't have been. I went mainly for the chicken sandwich for the local burger month unfortunately it left a lot to be desired the chicken was 2 thin pieces breaded heavily so it appeared to be a large amount but it wasn't and it was very chewy. The tacos were alright but the beef was drier then what I would expect for an Carne Asada. The drink was good.

What. How is this place so good. Unbelievably good food and we went through three rounds of food and drinks.. Chicken > Prawn > Steak > Fish.. Jess guided us through this whole brilliance perfectly.. Thank you! Go. Here.

OH MY GOD. so good, came in late lastnight with a friend of mine and it was the best food i’ve ever had. definitely my favourite restaurant ever. We bought lots of different food and every single one of the items were perfect. and our server was so amazing and we loved her vibes. seemed like she loved her job. we’re definitely coming back. Had to leave a a good tip and review and hype this place tf up!

If I could give this spot more than 5 stars I sincerely would. From the cocktails to the divine, flavorful tacos, and the service fromJesse our waitress who was the most pleasant soul, this is a MUST visit spot in Downtown Nelson.

Taco night was a great way to try several tacos and don't miss enjoying a margarita with your meal. I had the ginger cardamon margarita so much flavor. Tacos I tried the fish, shrimp, avocado and squash. The shrimp and the avocado were my favorites. Make sure you ask for hot sauce. Service was great.
