Love, love, LOVE this place. So glad to have fresh, delicious Chinese food in this area. Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates good value and quality cuisine. Have tried a variety of items and they are all amazing. Welcome to Bruce Peninsula and thank you for caring about the ethnicity of your food culture.

Placed an order for dinner for pick up, asked for chicken lo mein, chicken chop suey and some other items. When got it home the lo mein was chicken, pork and shrimp mix with a seafood allergy in the house this wasn’t acceptable along with the chop suey was Ho Feng. When I called to explain the mix up with the order I was told that I never told them there was an seafood allergy and should have told them along with being told that I didn’t ask for the chop suey even though I repeated the order back 3 times when placing the order. The lady on the phone was rude and told me it was my fault. Will not be recommending this place to anyone as it seems like it’s the customers fault no matter what even if it was the restaurant who messed up the order.

The service is really friendly and the food orders fast. Great portions. Enjoyed everything except the wings. They were really fatty, slimy and lots of redness inside but I have gone back, just not for the wings.

Updated April 30/2022Just wanted to update since Ive ordered a lot more over the past couple months. My 5/5 score still stands! The food is always consistently fresh and tastes wonderful. Thanks China8!Great quality Chinese food! With only 1 Chinese restaurant in Port elgin it's nice to have another option. I ordered orange chicken, beef with broccoli, veg Lo mein, and spring rolls - plus they gave me a free item for paying cash over $35!!! Nice deal.Everything had a lot of flavor and tasted fresh. Their chicken isn't overly battered and the orange sauce tasted amazing. It was opening day when I ordered so it took some time to pickup my meal, ~20 min, but the staff were very nice. I will definitely be back to try some other items on the menu, Im very interested in trying their Thai curry next.Thanks China 8! :)

Great Chinese food restaurant. Food is hot, fresh, staff is friendly. Lots of selection on the menu. Nice little sitting area if you choose to sit in and have your meal. No table service but it is not needed. Clean facilities and clean washrooms.

I enter the China8. Browsing the order board. From the kitchen area I hear a man coughing and clearing his throat in a way that usually ends in spitting ( if you catch what I am saying)I asked the pleasant young man at the order station. Who is doing that? It’s disgusting to listen to in a restaurant.He replied “ that’s my boss” embarrassed.I then asked “ is he in the kitchen cooking?”He replied “no he is not in kitchen.”I replied. Good thing!I did take my order as I didn’t want to embarrass the lad any more than he was.Did I eat it?Nope.I hope if this boss wants to do that he goes outside where customers don’t gag at the sound of him.

We took takeout from China8 when we visited Saugeen shores for the long weekend. We stayed at the stop 21 motel and the owner recommended this place. Initially we ordered the Combo for 2 and when we had a closer look at the menu decided to change it into 2 single combo meals, just requested if we could have a change and they said yes without hesitation, customer service is excellent.The food was awesome, fresh and so tasty. The portions sizes are huge and its great for the price you pay. Definitely a place to have great Chinese food if you are in Port Elgin or Saugeen shores.
