I am only giving these three stars to the nicest staff ever. I think the pool is good for little swimmers, since the older swimmers barely have space and keep on bumping into each-other. Also the changing rooms need an upgrade, since they don’t have curtains ( well maybe just in the female change room) and only have maybe four or five showers.

Great place for swim for kids but small pool for an adult or who knows how to swim. Staff is good. Hope they make it bigger whenever they renovate it.

The pool is small too many people but trainer JESSICA is super AWESOME she is patient and knowledgeable trust her and jump into the pool

Nice and cozy. Warm pool for the kids, staff were great with our kids compared to other places we’ve been too. Matthew was our hero for our girls who are usually not very comfortable with water but he made them tackle it with ease.

My son had a great time swimming in the fall, but we never realized that the pool never gets heated. In the winter, the kids are all shivering while trying to learn because the water is so cold. It is an old facility and the instructors acknowledge that the pool doesn't get heated, but they can't do anything about it.

So I was signed up for parent and child swimming at chinguacousy recreation centre and I guess the renovations were not done in time so it was switched to this pool last minute. This facility is so old and small. The pool was tiny but okay…. but the change rooms/showers/washrooms are non-existent. The family change room is a 4x4 room off of the pool deck with no lock, the womens change room as 2 bathroom stalls, 3 tiny showers and a 12x12 change room with benches around the perimeter with so many people trying to change and extras just there with family members. I honestly changed my baby and drove home with my bathing suit under my clothes because it was so crowded and you are completely exposed. They have like 4 classes running at the same time in a TINY pool and there is SO MANY people standing and watching making it impossible to move. The only way this facility would be okay is if they put a one adult per swimmer in the facility not have entire families watching their child and then going into the tiny change rooms. As soon as I got home I called recreation and cancelled/ changed to a different facility! I would highly recommend you avoid this pool especially if you have a little one. P.S the staff were all lovely just way to tiny and too many classes/people in the building.

Love the staff here. Especially the lead lifeguard. I wish I knew her name. I should ask the next time we visit. She's so kind to our 4 boys and always takes the time to make us all feel welcome. You know who you are. You make the place worth going to. Thank u.
