Huntingdon Castle Hills
A delightfully tranquil spot adjacent to the town centre. A useful information board describes the history of the former castle, sighted next to a replica fire beacon which was lit in 1988 to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the defeat of the Spanish Armada.

Huntingdon Castle Hills
Quite interesting site. Not a lot to see now, but you can see how it would have worked as a castle and most years ago. Using the river to surround your castle and village. There is an information point with pictures of how it once looked and views of the layout. Shame the A14 cuts right across the site although it does give the site perspective. 45 - 60 minutes is all you'll need to take it all in.

Hills and old walls plus the iconic old light fire beacon,parking available very cheap,nice places to eat,even boating very close to the river! Fun to visit and spend time with your family and friends,without to pay a fortune!

Huntingdon Castle Hills is just lovely. A beautiful town surrounded by the ouse Valley....a must if you are visiting Cambridge.

Huntingdon Castle Hills
Really nice place, especially in winter for sledging, or even in Summer if you want to bike down the hills, but please be aware that there's a lot of rabbit holes, and there once was a Motte and Bailey castle here, but now there's just a few hills. Don't be disappointed if you go there expecting an actual standing castle, because there isn't one.
