Mi Pueblo Mexican restaurant
Took some fajita and tacos for takeout lunch. To be honest we did not expect any quality dish from here because we just dropped by as we were passing by, but the food was really delicious for such a cheap price! Really wanted to try out the coronarita which was super cheap but the drinks were not for takeouts.

The restaurant was on top of a bluff that you could see the town below and the large river that the town sits on, there were two bridges that go over the water that you could see from the restaurant.The chips and salsa were very good, as well as the tamale i had with beans, my wife had fish tacos and they were very good too. I would suggest eating here when in the area.

We've been coming to Chamberlain for a few years now for annual meetings, and last year we discovered this gem of a place. We were THRILLED to see them still open. Service is fantastic, prices are actually too low (I work in food service industry), food is outstanding, and the place is clean. Last night we were there and they got SLAMMED. We were understanding about the extra time it took to get our ticket to pay. The food didn't take as long as we expected, especially considering how slammed they were. Great seeing the same faces working - thinking it's a family business.We will eat here EVERY TIME we come to Chamberlain area.I ordered the Colorado Beef - and they graciously substituted lettuce for the rice and beans. In the middle of the South Dakota plains, it seemed a bit amazing to find such and authentic Mexican restaurant here. Once seated, the wait for service was really pretty long but then that speaks to the popularity of the place and the quality of the food. Genuinely decorated and staffed, and some really pretty amazing dishes and portions. Oh, and they even had horchata, which I truly enjoy!

Since we were just passing through, we weren’t looking to explore too far for dinner. We chose this place due to proximity. I’d read the reviews and so I was expecting the service to be a little slower. There seemed to be sufficient staff. We were greeted right away and had beverages in the first few minutes.The food was very good.We did have to ask two separate people to get our bill and I don’t know how long we would have waited for the server to come back to take payment. We dropped ours off on the way out.In the end, however, we were pleased with this restaurant.

It’s kinda tricky on doing this review. We were traveling and trying to stay ahead of the storms. They was very busy but thought it wouldn’t take too much time to eat and head out. As we were waiting on the waiter we noticed some people just leave after getting their waters and chips. That should’ve been the first sign. We waited over 40 minutes and told them we needed to leave and our food hadn’t been made yet so we just left. Everything looked so good, they were hard workers and the atmosphere was fun! If you have time when they’re extra busy I’d try it out because everything seemed really good!

Mi Pueblo Mexican restaurant
Just what we needed. Tired and hungry, they seated us immediately and brought chips and salsa straightaway. We ordered quickly and the food came fast. Big tasty portions that we couldn’t finish. Delicious Tex-Mex style. And the lowest dinner prices we’ve seen in five states!
