You will not regret a trip to picturesque Telegraph Cove aprox 1.5 hrs north from Campbell River.The Killer Whale Cafe has an amazing menu, amazing presentation, and probably the best seafood chowder according to my dining partner, and what little taste I had too.We loved it so much, we went back twice.The tiramisu is a must and the B52 with or without coffee is prepared perfectly.The caesar salad with fresh fish etc was so good, as usual, I forgot to take pics.

Our server was extremely knowledge on the menu and dietary restrictions that some of us had! We had a birthday at the table and he went above and beyond, unfortunately I didn’t get his name

We arrived for lunch around 1:45 pm. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all and we were immediately seated. We waited approximately 15 minutes for the server to arrive and take our order; not sure what took so long. She took our order, a salad and a sandwich, and retreated to the interior of the restaurant. A few minutes later she dropped off our drinks and then she began speaking with a couple seated behind us on the deck. A second server, a gentleman, brought our food out about 20 minutes or so after ordering, while the first server continued to chat with the other patrons. We had to ask for cutlery to eat our food. The second server took care of the check while the other server continued to chat.We both had a mild feeling of nausea about an hour after eating, and some intestinal distress later in the evening. The two things our meals had in common were a halibut fillet and lettuce. Perhaps the fish wasn’t cooked properly, or refrigerated properly, or was cross-contaminated with other foods in the kitchen. We noticed as we left that neither chef was wearing gloves as they prepared food. Perhaps some training on customer service and food preparation is in order. Perhaps additional training on the sources of and preventative measures for food contamination is in order.

There's no road that you could drive to the restaurant ,you have to walk up there, and there's no parking anywhere close by. It's a beautiful small town

A quaint spot located in the wharf in historic Telegraph Cove. We are outside on the balcony and enjoyed the beauty of a sunny day on the sea. The wait staff are friendly and efficient. I had the blackened king cod with chickpea salad and garlic toast. My partner had the halibut fish and chips. Both meals were delicious and arrived quickly to our table.

You will pay 45$ for farmed Atlantic salmon. The server laughed about how horrible their food is and called the restaurant a tourist trap. This place serves Dog Food.

A mediocre restaurant in a beautiful location. Came as a large group so I understand the kitchen was slammed. First let me say, my wife had the Coquilles St Jacques and she enjoyed it even though the seafood was a tad over done. It's a dish that's hard to not over cook and once again it was service for a large group. I had the special which was ribs and even though I have learned to temper my expectations in Canada for what they call BBQ ribs" which are always cooked in the oven and almost always so soft that they have no texture. I was still disappointed that that is exactly what I got. Basically par for Canadian BBQ ribs but just not that good. Service was friendly and attentive. Orders were all correct and timely. No real complaints

Quick service and delicious chowder, but the serving sizes were TINY. We all left hungry after our $30 “meals”.

Dinner was delicious, the atmosphere was amazing, and I was amazed by the bear just chillin' there
