We always had a functional backyard for our children, while they were growing up. Now that they are young adults we wanted to open up this space. After researching online we decided to meet with Todd @ Devonshire. His designs looked very simple but stylish, which appealed to us. After meeting Todd, we knew we wanted to use him for our project. Todd wanted to reuse as much as he could in our backyard. In other words, he was not trying to sell us on items we did not need. We appreciated this professional quality, and that is why we contracted him to create the backyard we had dreamed about.We agreed upon the design, and allowed Todd to use his experience and creativeness to develop the space we had envisioned. The project was started on the date scheduled. As the project progressed, we decide to make some changes. It was hard for us to picture everything on paper. Todd was very responsive to these changes and worked with us. When we mentioned something to him, he listened. He would think about it, and return the next day with a plan to get the attention to detail we wanted. The project was completed on time with the results we dreamed about.Our backyard has turned into our own little oasis, thanks to Todd. We have received several compliments from neighbors and passersby.We have to mention, our renovation was completed in October. Some of the plants did not make it through the winter. Todd returned in the spring, as promised, and replaced the plants that did not survive. For us, the service after a project is completed, is the true representation of a quality contractor. We had Todd and his team install a patio for us during summer 2016. We love the final result! It was easy to talk with Todd about our hopes for the patio/backyard and hear his creative ideas. These were incorparated together for a final plan. During the install small modifications to the original plan were necessary and Todd had no problem coming up with solutions that were budget friendly and look amazing. The Devonshire Design Team was professional and enjoyable to work with. The follow up after install has also been fantastic. Todd responds quickly to any questions or minor concerns we have. This has been a GREAT experience and we highly recommend Devonshire Designs.

I've had two projects done by Devonshire and I really like their work. I like their natural landscape designs. Using natural stone instead of concrete paving tiles was a cool idea.
